  • We tested several floating coolers for different occasions; floating the river, kayaking, the pool etc. Full Floating Cooler Review: www.coolersonsa...
    Each cooler we tested serves a different purpose. The Intex Megachill and the AIRHEAD Aqua Oasis were not good for towing behind a boat or cooler. However, these two were designed for lounging in the pool or at the springs. We found the AIRHEAD Aqua Oasis to be a bit cheap. The Intex was a better built product. However, the CreekKooler was by far the most robust cooler. When towing the Creek Kooler behind the boat or kayak, it tracked perfectly.
    The AIRHEAD is advertised as a 24 Pack, but we found that to be far from realistic when adding ice. The Intex offered the most space, but lacks insulation. The CreekKooler was a good middle road when it comes to size.
    Coolers Tested:
    Creek Kooler: amzn.to/2EajayZ
    INTEX Mega Chill: amzn.to/2L7e0VJ
    AIRHEAD Aqua Oasis: amzn.to/2Eo5zFi

    Thanks for the review. I just ordered an Intex Mega Chill for the river next week. I want it for holding my 2 JBL Boombox 2 radios. We'll see how it goes

    I wonder how well the creek cooler would do at keeping unwanted water out if turned upside down accidentally.
    Thanks for the review. Was hoping we would see a giveaway for my birth month but I would be happy with just another review.

    The one thing all floating coolers are missing is a place for the empty cans

    Didn't test the IceMule Cooler as well? I know it's been featured in other videos but not against floating coolers.

      We didn't match it up on this test, but you're right, we have tested IceMule the past. We can test IceMule against the Creek Kooler when it warms up a bit! Thanks for the suggestion.

    1.How big of cooler can fit in the Megachill?
    2. With a cooler in the Megachill how well does it still float?

    Do you think the INTEX would support the weight of my waeco cf50 efficiently enough to transport it out of my kayak?

    • @CoolersOnSale
      @CoolersOnSale  Před 5 lety

      Do you mean the waeco cf50 as in a fridge freezer? If so, no I dont think I would put that in this floating cooler.

    • @escalonatv3218
      @escalonatv3218 Před 5 lety

      Yes, I think it would be risky to put a lot stress on that $ 20 cooler. Maybe stuffing it with Polystyrene foam can make a difference, adding stiffness, stability and buoyancy.
