I had the truly amazing honor of meeting Mr. Hudner and learning about his heroic actions from his perspective. He never thought of himself as a hero, and he always wished he could have done more to help Jesse.
Rest in peace, Captain Hudner. You were a true hero and I hope you and Jesse have maintained your friendship in the great beyond.
