    Wow. I grew up with a 9N, with a back-blade for dirt / snow... never knew they made a snow-blower... only down-side is that you have to be backing-up...

    Cool, my Dad had one of those. I didn't know that it could run a snowblower?

    Very nice setup. do you have a reduction gearbox or you running just the standard transmission?

  • @johndoe1909
    @johndoe1909 Před rokem

    nice, but the lack of a double clutch for the pto is a bummer, as is the lack of a proper low gear, when the snow thickens. but for this typenof use its ok it seems!

    Works better than the pull behind v-type snowblowers.

    I have had several people tell me I shouldn't bother using a snowblower with an 8n or Jubilee. Guess this proves them wrong.

      @Patachawata Před 8 lety +4

      +Jacinta Seamans I think the reason why you shouldn't use a snowblower on an 8n is due to it having a transmission running PTO rather than a live PTO. Some Jubilee's have a 2-stage 'live' PTO which makes it a little safer.

      They may also be referring to the fact that there's no cab. Inevitably you're going to get a face full of snow from not being able to step out of the way like with a walk behind.

      @davem4193 Před 6 lety +1

      This particular Jubilee does not have a live PTO, if you watch the video you'll see that the blower stops when he pushes in the clutch. It still does very well though.

      Reverse on an 8n is too fast for blowing snow. A blower that you pull could work because you would be able to use 1st gear.

    That's a big blower for the size of the tractor. Seems to be handling it ok.

      @GFWoodchuck Před 6 lety

      walkenshaw2000 It's not deep and rather light snow. I'm sure 12 inches of wet snow will be putting this tractor right to work and drinking fuel. Lol

  • @luckyran3
    @luckyran3 Před 13 lety +4

    wow, that works pretty good considering the tractors small size and not having live power. we had an NAA and it seemed to be a pretty spunky tractor.

    What is the width of your snowblower. It looks like a 72inch in the video
