Chinese New Year celebration in Kathmandu Nepal (2024) 新年快乐

Chinese New Year is being celebrated in all the countries around the world, where Chinese people reside. In Kathmandu too, we can see the number of Chinese people growing. They love their language, art and culture. On the occasion of Chinese New Year today (2024 February 10), the Chinese community organized a program to celebrate the New Year at Durbar Marg. Lots of exciting dances were performed.
This dance of Kiring or Quilin dance attached me so much. It was just mesmerizing.
The energy, force and attentiveness expressed on this highly decorated mask, and the gesture of the performer is just beyond explanation. It filled me with incredible energy to live happily this year. Thank you all. Long live Nepal-China friendship
चीनियाँ नयाँ वर्षकाे उपलक्ष्यमा काठमाडौंकाे दरवार मार्गमा आज चीनियाँहरुले आफ्नाे संस्कृतिका केही झल्को हरु प्रस्तुत गरे । अरु भन्दा पनि याो किरिन भनिने काल्पिनक जनावरकाे अभिनयले भरिएकाे नृत्य धेरै आकर्षक लाग्यो । चीनिया बाहेक त्यस अवसरमा नेपालकाे लाखे नाच कुमारी नाच तथा डम्फु नाच पनि प्रस्तुत गरिएकाे थियो ।
