I find that the early songs are highly underrated. Those who take the time to appreciate the early stuff gain a better perspective of the newer releases. I've found it enhances my enjoyment of all of their work.

They are building blocks the other albums are built on. It, imo, feels to me that if you don't have the 1st pieces to reference, you miss bits of meaning in the rest of the music.

You need a shovel for sure with ST 😂...Vessel is nothing if not a genius, a modern poet that turns everything he does into a work of art. Going through their whole discography, I felt like I'd been transferred to a calm realm and was so relaxed because my emotions had been taken on a ride. Listening from where they started to the latest album, man it's a wonderful journey.

I remember hearing this for the first time. It was 3 am and I had just discovered SleepToken so I went and listened to every song from beginning to end for 3 hours and this song was so powerful. When that breakdown hits I cried it hit me so hard in my soul. Sleep token changed my life and made me feel things I forgot music could. Worship 🖤

The best advice I can give is watch some of their old live videos. They’re sprinkled around. How he does Calcutta and fields of elation live in the really old videos is insane. How high he goes is insane.

One is the beginning of it all. I love the tone and the edge they set. It gives Bessel his voice it introduces the characters of the lore and it makes it clear that there is an otherworldly thing happening throughout. Two begins the passage of time (or the supposed passing of time) and the spiral inward for Vessel to confront what he confronts in the trilogy but the thickness of the tracks of one are such a rich layer to set this mood. I love it. I’m with you every step of this journey.

Boughs breaking, granite- there's a car crash moment, take me back to eden- he's about to bite back in anger and then the song goes full rage. There's so much to this music, the puzzles and layers sooth the AUDHD of my brain.
