I have my crystal bracelets. I work in a hospital and I can't work there without my crystals. Black obsidian,ocean jasper, amethyst and carnelian. Plus I keep some in my pocket. Rose quart, lapis or whatever I feel I should grab while running out the door.

I have been vibing with clear quartz(my family did a dig last year and I have a lot everywhere)and always vibing with labradorite. I am recovering from emergency surgery and feel like this knocked me down pretty hard so needing to reset my home energy I think will help. My mom had ankle surgery years ago and I told her to have "Starcluster Aragonite" by her side during her recovery and she did wonderfully, that is my only experience with healing crystals and post surgery so give that a try, it worked great for my mom! And yes, keeping a positive outlook on your recovery and healing would be the best mindset. Since you aren't super active I am guessing right now, this could be an opportunity for you to be in a "planning" phase or write something that you have been putting off. Think of your recovery as a reset in life, what are you envisioning for you 2024, now is a good time "edit" things. I am wishing you luck in your recovery and a wonderful year head!
I get loopy of I spend to much time with tourmaline, I feel like it's super high vibe so I pair it with a grounding stone or ground myself after using it. It's my birth stone so I often have some on me but it's usually not the only stone.
I have gotten that feeling with Celestite too, like a head high almost lol Tourmaline is a such a potent one, I discovered not a good idea to wear this stone when you drink alcohol, made me get really sick quickly
Some traditions use black or black banded agate as a way to ward off the evil eye. I personally find agate more grounding and also more watery. I feel like it kinda helps me find my center so I can go with the flow.

I have a big piece of raw tourmaline as a pendant and I wear it everytime I go somewhere where I will meet officials: international travel, tax office etc. I always ask it to protect me from any negative and harmful people and things and to remove obstacles from my path. It always works. When I worked at a front desk of a company I tried to wear the pendant too but strangely it made the people I was dealing with hostile towards me. As if they knew I was wearing an armor and they felt offended or intimidated.
I also have a black tourmaline necklace and find that when I wear it the effects are very notable to me and others! It does something to draw their attention I feel like. I might need to try wearing my Black Obsidian. I believe my generational Trauma leads me to lean towards a Negative Outlook, my parents are judgmental and negative so I’m like drawn to drama and negativity. My goal is to break this habit and become a more positive person in general. I have a stressful job so a positive outlook is pretty important for my sanity lol 😆
