ABOUT: Floating Sandbox
This game is a realistic two-dimensional mass-spring network, which simulates physical bodies (such as ships) floating in water. You can punch holes in an object, slice it, apply forces to it, and smash it with explosions. Once water starts rushing inside the object, it will start sinking and, if you're lucky enough, it will start breaking up!

Hey, just wanted to let you know that the reason the wood building acted so differently from the others is in part because you used a regular material than a hull material. The regular materials fill with water, while the hull ones are the ones that hold the water out (and in) of ships in the sim. Hope this helps in future builds you make!

Fairly sure this is my second attempt at doing the math on your videos.
So you mentioned the weight of the 2000 storey glass building and I'm going to attempt to do that with almost no other measurements (i.e a lot of guessing).
By pausing at 13:08 we can see each storey is 14 rooms wide, let's just assume it's also 14 rooms wide along the other axis just for ease. Now I feel like the only use for a building this size is for some tech giant's office and a google search tells me that the average size of an office is 10x15 foot, or 150sq foot.
Each floor would hold 196 offices and thus be 29,250sq foot of glass per floor, IF the whole thing were solid, now of course it is hollow so we move onto the biggest assumption area made entirely on guess estimates... science-y, I know.
So I'm going to assume that, for some reason, the glass is the same thickness of a normal brick-wall with a plaster board on it. Bricks are generally 75mm wide in this dimension, plus the general 12.5 mm of plaster board (9.5 is also used but is less rigid and is therefore less commonly used) gives us 87.5mm for the interior of a room, or 43.75mm for the sake of easy multiplication as it removes overlap from multiplying it 196 times (we do however loose the outer-most exterior of the building but honestly, it's gone 12pm and I'm tired.)
Now if we can convert this to foot, we will have a much easier time later on; so 43.75 mm = 0.14353675 foot.
So 0.14353675*4*196*14(foot as the height of the storey) SHOULD be the rough idea of glass walls per storey, if my math is not off; if it is off, feel free to correct me :)
Coming at a total of 1575.459368sq foot of glass for the ground floor of interior glass.
Now times that by 2000 for the height of the monstrosity, coming at 3150918.736sq foot of glass.
After a quick Google search, annealed glass is the most common in windows and that was clearly the intended use for this glass so I'm just going to use that. Using www.glass-ts.com/glass-weight-calculator I calculated the weight of the glass, however, I had to say the thickness was 10mm and times it by 30.48 to get it accurate.
(Side note, a 10mm glass panel for the entire building would be 23,059,205,440,600.02 KG so even if you had thin walls it would still be a *little* on the heavy side.)
The building would weigh 7.0284458e+14 KG if my assumptions and math were correct, equaling 702,844,581,829 Metric Tonnes, or 702844.5 Mega-tonnes (1dp).
Now for the other question, would glass shatter holding 702844.581829 Mega-tonnes on-top of it? Well, obviously, but lets find out how far off it is.
I used www.dullesglassandmirror.com/glass-weight-load-calculator for this, but the maximum values I could select were still WAY too small for me, so I just used the maximum values, which if anything makes the building look stronger than it would actually be.
According to said website, the first floor would shatter after 1.421408802 Tonnes, or the weight of our building divided by 494,470,402,069.
So yeah, obviously the math checks out. Even if I'm miles off with my math, I'm pretty sure it would still shatter.
But thaaaaaaaat's just a theory, a game theory.
