Thanks for your comment colleague. I started the day before with a rake in the middle of the area and kept going all the way around. So I drove around with the press that Saturday. I kept the width of the swaths extra small, which worked very well, around 2000 bales and only one miswinding. If I had made the swaths wider, I would have had to constantly turn around to prevent the press from choking, as the risk of damage to the press would have been too great. The film is from 2013, and for years now I've only had the contractor press round bales; no one pays a reasonable price for small bales. But round bales of hay also have to be “given away” due to the amount of hay in Germany (imports from Poland, France).
