It don't get no better than this!! This is the way a banjo was meant to be played!! That double clap rhythm (if you don't know what doubl clap rhythm is, pay attention to Martha on the bass) is perfect for flatfoot buck dancing!! I must have played this over at least 12-15 times!!

What she is doing is called double slap. The bass is both bass and percussion in a double slap. It requires a healthy amount of confidence

Son what she’s doing has a great sound but it’s really simple. She does a double slap. She isn’t even picking or fretting. Check out Tom Gray for some serious bluegrass bass playing

Got my comment on reply side by accident. I think martha has more talent than allison krauss. Her songs ring and she has a stronger voice. She in my opinion is up there with ralph stanley. But like i say im not really a blue grass critic.
