The worst part of migraine (other than the pain!) is other people not understanding what you are going through :(
Can u tell me if i have migraine or not,
It all started and i get to experience heavy pain, on the back of head, sometimes right side, or left side. Scalp tenderness is common. (it's like burning) i get nauseutic feel. Nd it doesn't happen daily but regularly like a cycle. Sometimes, it feels like a stroke, it feels that something freezed in my mind, and when i lift my head (up or down) it's like something is falling. Intense pain. And sometimes,. It feels like something hit my head hard like a stroke. Ohhh, it's soo painful. Rn, i'm having pain on the back side of head, and scalp pain.
Nobody understands what they feel like unless they have one. I just had one 3 weeks ago that lasted 5 days but it had been years since I've had one. I've suffered with migraines off and on since I was 14. People think you have a normal headache but it's a whole different ballgame when you have excruciating migraines that feel like your head is put into a vise and you feel the intense pulsating as if your brain is gonna blow up. Mine have always lasted almost a week everytime . Nothing is scarier than feeling like you're gonna die while your eyes are about to pop out of your head and the back of your neck feels like somebody hit it with a cinderblock.
Don't delete my sentence. I meant it. I'm not answering for. Giving my hp number to make fun of public
Google the Texas migraine clinic
Find a good shiatsu (acupressure) practitioner and try it. It helped me hugely to reduce the frequency and the effect of migraine. It's like a magic. Hope your migraine get better 🙏🏻
God bless who suffer migraine.... Is not easy :(
I usually have migraines every week thanks for watching the video because we are all sick of the lack of knowledge about migraines and some people can be really insensitive
😭😭😭😭
Im suffering this disease since my childhood and Im 30 and still suffering at least 2 times per week
My best friend has migraine
It isn’t 😩
I had one for five days! I ended up in the hospital. Ppl can be so insensitive when I tell them I have a migraine.
I'm I have them all to often! See halls and light flashes and a small spot of vision lost in my eye! I now need a CT scan a migraine specialist told me it's not normal!
I suffer from Chronic migraine & it is awful. People don’t understand who do not
Girl tell me about it 🙄🙄 tylenol or any nsaids doesnt work for true migraine 😓.. my dr gave me imitrex but i get migraine too often 😓
its so annoying
Marz u're correct. Wen I get migraines I also end up n the hopt. Dr's give me toradol, benedryl and reglan. It helps, til the next time.
After most of 74 years of migraine, I have never had any help from doctors. I have come to the conclusion that doctors know less about them than me.
I pray from God you will be cured soon My mother also has been suffering from migrane since 40 years now she is 56 years old
The "doctors" are drug dealers but they don't have evil intentions. They only know what the corrupt system taught them.

Shreya Suman it definitely sounds like a migraine.
I understand your frustration. Im 42 and have had them my entire life with no help from neurologists. The most help I got was from an herbal apothecary. You have to do your own research it seems and find a neurologist that suffers from migraine so they will show compassion which is unlikely to find.
Praying for healing from migraines. God can do the impossible!
I am an adult Neurologist , this video is one of the best that describe the path physiology of migraine as complex disease
Where are you DOC in Qatar
The people who say it's just a headache need to actually experience one. Migraines are NOT just a headache. A migraine is much worse than any headache. The fact that the pain of a migraine can be compared to child birth shows you how painful they can be.
Samual Williams I had one for a month and got I wanted to die. Sleeping was a paradise for me back in November 2018.
Samual Williams I had one after working 24 hours 4 hours at one Job then driving 45 to another job for a 18 hour shift then it hit me on the way home I couldn’t fall asleep and I was in so much pain I was throwing up and I felt so week i was sweating I was struggling to keep my head to throw up in the toilet I thought I was gonna die I didn’t know it was a migraine back then and I had tears in my eyes and just accepted that My brain was gonna pop and I was gonna die alone next to the toilet as my eye sight fade to black I smiled at least the pain was gonna end migraines are extremely pain full and I hate when other people just say take a Advil you be fine when they don’t know how it feels
They sure are and sick and tired of ppl who never had one not understanding and when I get attacks they just look at me like I'm crazy or "it's all in my head"- yeah it is and it's EXCRUCIATING pain!!!!- they have no clue how painful and debilitating they are!!! And also how luck they are to not have them!!!!
They dont understand it hurt like hell
Oh no, its worse than child birth. I'd rather give birth again then continue to have migraines
So my nervous system is dramatic AF?!?!?? 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Nethmi .G Our nervous systems are teenage girls
This is my major takeaway from the video too. Just overreacting everywhere.
Pap Papinskie 😂💀💀
my fiance got a kick out of this... he always tells me I'm overly sensitive lol oooops
Lol, I needed that laugh, but ouch my head hurts!😟
me when someone refers to a normal headache as a migraine: *NO! no no no no no no no no NOOOO!!!*
I can feel you katherine😩
Katherine Voegtlin YeA it’s way worse !
It hurts like hellllllllllllllllllllllllll
I CAN RELATE
Katherine Voegtlin that drives me absolutely crazy!! It’s like someone saying they have cancer when they find a pimple. It’s just wrong at best and incredibly insulting at worst.
Watching this while resting with a migraine..
Me 2...I'm on day 3 of this

Same thing here
Same. On week 5! Ughhh
Same here 😥
I had a migraine today. My tongue and hands went numb and I could only see half of everything. I was in so much pain and I start crying just thinking about today🤕 mine only last a 5-6 hours (worst hours of my life) and I can't image going DAYS with one. God bless those people that have them everyday and for those who have them for days. I pray for those that have migraines bc i know how it feels. And those that compare migraines to a headache need to make a few corrections with that guess. Anyways whoever is reading this I hope you have a great rest of your day!!
Libby Stancliffe I suffer from migraines too. The worst one lasted 6 days. I got a 4 day break after that. On day 4, it woke me up at 2am. I questioned God why me. I cant take the suffering 😩😩
I feel you I'm crying now.
The attacks are absolute hell and my heart breaks for everyone who has had to suffer through even one migraine let alone over and over again. It’s not fair but we fight every day just to live normal lives and I want you to know you are strong as hell!!! I love you and I’m so sorry you have to suffer that way. I know the feeling
Yeah I don’t got theam every day but holy I’m so sad for people who have it every single mf day
My tough also becomes numb sometimes wonder what causes that
I had no idea daily headaches was something that was common for other people with migraines. I’ve been getting daily tension headaches all the time and those on their on is a fight all together. Migraines have been apart of my life since I was around 11 or 12 years old and they are the worst thing I have ever dealt with. The past few years has been the hardest for me, and it’s so frustrating because so many people don’t understand what people with migraines go through. All the canceled plans and people getting mad and not getting it, just saying oh it’s just a bad headache just come out for a bit is so unsettling. One thing that doesn’t get talked about or maybe it’s just me, is the anxiety that comes along with them, the aura has me so scared and with what goes on, being, vision loss, speech problems, half of my body or face numb, and the head pain that makes you want to cry. All of this gives you the feeling that you’re having a stroke or something every time it happens and makes me have the worst anxiety making a migraine even worse.
I feel for all of us who get these and I hope that one day a deeper understanding will be found and that we can get help as it really is no way of life.
I just started to take Botox for it and I’m waiting to see if it is right for me and will do something.
It’s a ruthless cycle, you get no sleep from a migraine and a lot of stress from it which can be a trigger and cause another one in a couple of days when your cortisol levels go back down and then boom another one strikes, along with having to tiptoe around plans as at any moment it can be ruined from this.
Yes Migraines are horrible, recently I been getting them more often. And I pray that they go away as the pain is too much to bear.
Take care dear
I have migraine for 4 years until now.... Not cure...
You could not have explained my feelings any better!
Some of the migraine preventive meds are also helpful in preventing tension headaches. Talk to your doctor about those.
Who else was touching or pushing on their head lightly while watching?
When I was 8 years old, I started getting really bad migraines. I was throwing up every time I had one and the pain was always intense. The migraines would happen several times a month until I was 17.
I talked to a priest that I met on a train about my constant
migraines and I asked him to pray for me, since I felt hopeless about the migraines.
After he prayed with me, my migraine went away and to this day, I haven’t had a single migraine. I’ve had small headaches, but I haven’t had a single bad migraine for the past 5 years. I’m blessed
Divine intervention is unlikely. A priest is just a regular guy that spends a lot of his time with the Bible.
I've dealt with migraines since I was 10 years old. Officially (diagnosed) at 12 but I remember being a 10 year old seeing auras and electrical currents. Always feeling like I was walking on clouds. I use to have them multiple times a week. Now in my later years, they come less frequently but when they come, they come. When I do get migraines now, I have to try and take medicine before the attack actually happens (during the aura stage) or I'll throw up the medicine. I have to lay completely flat (no pillows) and with no movement and hope I fall asleep. People really don't understand how debilitating they are.. It's good seeing other people commenting their experiences.
Bless you I am praying for each and every one of you!!! 🙏🙏🙏 you are a champion for all of this we go through, blessings sent with ❤️ to you right now!!
thank you
Sr, I am suffering from this chronic migraine since 17 years 😭😭, even today, I fed up in life by this diseae
Thank you
Thanku
Anyone else mid migraine here? Day 4 and I can't wait for it to go. Ouch.
same.
Day 3....I'm about 2 take another imitrex injection
Exactly
I had a migraine last Sunday and it lasted for 2 days. :(
day 120 still hasn't gone away
My dad also get migraines like me and he has a special way to ease them or even get rid of them sometimes
He says to turn on the shower very cold (it will be hard to get in at first) then make the water hit on you forehead and move around so it hits all parts of your head. Then turn the water to hot and do the same thing. Keep repeating it until it feels better.
Also he says that only the smartest of people get bad migraines because we have to much knowledge in our brains 🤣🤣
Snowball Slime Shops I tried the shower thing today, I fill the tub half way with cold water then warm water hits me. Relieves a bit enough to get me to go to my bed and sleep
Thats the best thing i ever heard and i will remember it
Smart man lol
Snowball Slime Shops sitting in a hot bath with a cold pack on your head is similar and also helps!
Love your dad explanation of why we suffer migraines. 😍
This is hard to share, but I’ve got to get it out of my system. My adult daughter actually rolls her eyes and laughs when I get a migraine. No, she’s never had a migraine and maybe never even a headache. Her husband thinks I’m “overreacting”….’just take an advil’.
Then, to my humiliation and sadness, they gave me a book for Christmas last year that declared migraines don’t exist, except as a way for unscrupulous doctors to make money.
My migraines are chronic. I take Eletriptan, topamax, Aimovig injections and have had Botox across my scalp and down my neck and shoulders.
This disease is the WORST.
I’ve considered many times to just make my exit from this world but I’m hanging on. Thank you for this information. Migraine disease is a living hell.
Too bad they are ignorant toward your disease.
My husband used to get so upset at me but after seeing me suffer so much he finally understands.
I'm right there with you. I often wonder how I'm still around.
Awe God bless you and know you are not alone. I understand and completely feel the same. I’m 32 and my dad doesn’t take my Chronic Migraine serious from time to time and it hurts. I’m learning to not let people like that interfere with my healing process let alone trigger a migraine by communicating with those idiots (family or not always choose YOUR peace). Plus people like that always get a wake up call at some point and get a really bad baby headache and think their dying lol I don’t wish ill-will but people like that ALWAYS gets what is coming to them trust!
Anyway, I’m convinced we’re superhero’s of some sort because of what we go through. Only the strong survive right? I’ll be praying for you tonight and that you get the love, respect and understanding that you deserve. Wishing you healing ❤
I had chronic migraines. I started tracking my food intake. Studying what I ate in days of a migraine. Turns out my migraines were caused by lack of water and protein. Now I make sure to drink "at least" 70oz a day and eat protein, haven't had a migraine going on 5yrs!!
What kind of protein you eat?😊
ima try this my migraines hurt so bad i drink way too much coffee and recently found of im lactose intolerant 😢
I was having headaches for like a year straight, not migraines, but this might help someone and migraines might be related to food.
Anyway, I decided to go on an only fruit diet (and some raw veggies: lettuce, some spinach, etc) since I like all fruit and I am not allergic or intolerant to any and I digest them perfectly.
In two weeks my headaches disappeared, so I continued like that for another 5 months (I had some "normal" lunch on Sumdays at my mum's).
My headaches haven't come back.
Btw, I only had organic fruit and veggies.
Just my two cents in case it might help anyone.
Quitting caffeine made mine go away. They come back when i start again. So sad.
Decaffeinated?
I am having a migraine right now. I’m 17 and have dealt with them my whole life. I can confidently say that It is one of the worst experiences one person can ever experience. This video was fascinating to watch and learn from and is very accurate

My friend: Ugh my heads hurts.I think I have a *strong migraine* .
Me having migraines for 8 years:
Trust me...you don't.
I am having it since 2017. It happens mostly in winters, accompanied by sinusitis. Left brain hurts damn too much.
I have migraine for 15 years
I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy 😥
I have migraine from from 11-12 years, from teen years
Ha ha
Exactly
I don't get migraines.. but I had one today that lasted hours (about 12), but seemed to last for eternity. I just want to show my compassion for people to suffer regularly from it. I was vomitting constantly. I barely came out of it and wanted to research it further, then read the comments. I know it sounds a bit extreme, but while I was hurting and not thinking clearly, I was thinking about how if I regularly had these, or this one did not end, I would quite literally end my life. I can't even imagine the strength you'd need to get these all the time and keep on living your life. You have my fullest and deepest sympathy and I hope you guys can find a way out of that recurring hell.
I have hope I can heal them. That’s the only thing that keeps me going. And my kids need me.
I’m understanding how much going crazy when get migraines 😢😭☹️hate it God bless who are have this Indeed pain ...!!✌️

As informative as this is, its really educational but the fact that I suffer from this makes it so hard to watch. 😔😪
Have you heard of thermal micro-cautery as a natural and effective treatment for migraine ?
It makes me emotional
People always tell me to man up and just get to work but they don't understand that i feel like my eyeballs are being pushed out of my eye sockets by my own brain
Had them all my life, started with one every 2 years, now once a month. Mine start with aura, vomiting, severe headache, loss of sight and blurred speech. To those of you suffering, don't let this disease weigh you down! You got this.
Is their anything that helps? I'm searching anywhere for my brother.
Same here.
I had it once a year and it got much worse in puberty i am sensitive to light and both my parents have migraines sometimes so if you grow older it might become less
@@Godspeed1844 sumatriptan
Nurtec works great
Wow. The brain scarring/stroke part is especially worrying. I've always felt that these migraine attacks CAN'T be good for my brain on a physiological level & that each one may be permanently worsening my overall health in some way. This kinda confirms that it's more than just a passing headache or inconvenience if physical changes are happening that can be seen on imaging tests.
Yes you’re correct. And the problem we are faced with us that each migraine makes you more susceptible to another. Even doctors are not taking this seriously at all. The more migraines you have the more migraines you will get. That’s why it is important to find a preventative. It’s like epilepsy. If you allow the seizures and don’t treat them they will increase and become more severe. Each migraine creates a pattern to more easily set up another attack. Frustrating when you cannot find a preventative that works.
@@samgreeneggs8101 is there anyway one can prevent? I have tried so hard to find a way but I can't see. The most freightening part is the risk of stroke
@@georgepresley5120 if it makes you feel better I just watched another video where the neurologist says the stroke risk increase due to migraines is minuscule compared to like smoking .. so it’s just important to stay healthy in all other aspects to keep the overall risk low. (Eat healthy low sodium and no smoking) (and women to not take the contraceptive pill)
As a non drinker and migraine sufferer it's so frustrating when people assume I'm hungover when I call in sick. And then those same people say they have a migraine when they are actually hungover
Right?? I see some people going about their day.. saying they have a migraine. There is no way you can function when experiencing a
through a migraine and its excruciating painful.. i cannot comprehend what is being said to me nor am I able to even make sense with what Im saying... on top of the pain.. I can hardly see or even open my eyes.
There could be a link for some people. My nephew used to think he was hungover. But he didn't realize a single beer shouldn't leave you hungover. Turns out he gets migraines if he drinks beer.
I am here because of too much terrible migraine pain , May God cure everyone soon Amen

Since we're all sharing. My mom has had migraines for as long as I can remember, and unfortunately I have inherited them. Mines started when I was around 14 15 and have just gotten worse since. And I'm a diesel mechanic, imagine working 10 hour days in a loud environment with a migraine that starts as soon as I wake up. Honestly, I go to sleep sometimes with a migraine and it'll last for a few days. And it sucks. What helps ease it a bit, for me. Is to turn the water as hot as you can take it, and put your head under it. All over your forehead and on the temples where the pain usually it. The steam will open up your nasal passages and it'll reach your brain, the steam eases your migraine. It is not just a headache, for us who live with them. I hope this helps.
Migraine, throw up, sleep
Literally
That's what happened to me today lmao.
Lmao me today, horrible stuff
Maria Dahl lol so true... 🙏🏻
I have them but don’t throw up anymore and usually just sleep for a hour an a bit. I had a migraine for a month.
I think there are two things that everyone on Earth should experience at least once. A full-blown panic attack and a full-blown migraine because people who do not experience these things can be incredibly insensitive to those of us who do. I think everyone should experience them once so that everyone understands how debilitating they actually are.
Yes...i feel the same.
The lowest point in my life has been trying to explain to people that prosciutto and red wine gives me aura and headaches. 😂😂😂
Man when ur only two health problems r panic attacks and migraines / some of the most debilitating illnesses of all time 😢
The makers of this video were not thinking about how the bright lights in this video would hurt those of us watching after experiencing an episode! I had to cover the screen during all those sparking visuals.
True! 👍

Woke up with the same headache from yesterday's...
I can't eat when I have migraine.
I throw up when I have migraine.
I need to be in bed when I have migraine.
The palms of my hands and feet hurt when I have migraine.
I get stomach upset and hyperacidity when I have migraine.
My trick is to take mefenamic acid just before the pain worsens or when I feel like I'm gonna have a migraine.

Mefenamic acid? I’ve never heard of it.. I’m gonna look into that.
@@rwarren108 me too, maybe it will help
I started getting migraines when I began working as a programmer and was staring at a computer all day.
Do you think it could be the light from the computer screen? I wear sunglasses and that helped cut down on mine.
@ratchetandclank2016 Tony Stark yes it sounds like it. I first started having tension headaches but i also had anxiety and doc gave me tricyclic antidepressants and a few years later that pain development into something worse and here i am today living hell a few days a week or at random times.
Mine started from working on my laptop. I get tension headaches and ocular migraines together. 🤕
Cwispy Face depending on the symptoms
If it’s a Tight Squeezing pain that’s probably a tension headache
If it’s a disabiling pulsating or pounding pain with nausea and light and sound sensitivity that’s probably Migraine
do you see like blur background color between lines? That's a trigger.
Some people like me, get some "stress" phobia migraine when seen lines contrasting. You can solve part of that making 2 or 3 line separation, so you won't' get that code bar effect.
This video has given me so much clarity. I couldn’t understand how I went from having episodic migraines as a child, to none at all during my late teen - early adult years, then they became chronic out of nowhere 6 years ago. It also explains why my symptoms keep changing and why I started having chronic catarrh right after the migraines became chronic!
I used to get a migraine around once a week in elementary school, thankfully I rarely get them now. This video is so true. I hate when people think of migraines as just headaches.
That 10min video taught me more about my migraines than the 20+ drs ive seen for my migraines over the past 15yrs..🙏thank you and please keep the videos coming....
I'm writing from Germany this is the best video we ever see in about migraine.
a very great video
I have had migraines since I was a kid. Now, they are chronic and last for days at a time. Can no longer work. I feel like a burden in my family.
You can try some lifestyle adjustments. While you may not be able to work, try not staying inside at home all day. Be a bit more active, walk in parks, do some gardening, run around a bit. One thing that triggers migraine is stress and feeling terrible inside does not help. Talk it out with your family and get it off your chest. Find something you enjoy doing actively (sitting around watching HBO all day isn't). Even if you can't work outside and earn money, doing domestic household work: cooking, cleaning, etc ... are still work and you should do it and not feeling terrible about not going out and work.
Then figure out what triggers your headaches and avoid those. For me, they are stress, long physical activity under hot, humid, sunny days, salty food, fast food while being hungry and thirsty. Avoid those and it cut down the frequency quite a lot.

Hi :( I’m 21 and have had migraines almost everyday for a long long time. I want to kill myself almost everyday. I live with my fiancé and he’s the only one that works.. I lose my eyesight from my migraines so I can never drive. I feel like such a burden to him and his family. 😖😢 his family doesn’t understand how bad/many migraines I get and call me lazy and think I’m just with him so I don’t have to do anything...... I wish I could work and help bring in money. His family is rich and they said they’d buy a house and we can rent it from them, but changed their mind because I don’t work currently. they keep telling him they won’t help him until I find a job that makes 16$ an hour. I feel like I ruin his life and he could have such a better life without being with me. Sorry for the rant I have a horrible migraine right now and saw you feel like a burden so I thought I’d share I’m so sorry you feel that way it really sucks. 💔💔 I know this was posted a year ago but I hope you’re better
@Gery A Drinking more water also. The last time I had a mountain Dew years ago caused it I believe. After that no more .
The section about the sinus drainage and pain is spot on with what I suffer from. I finally have a scientific explanation for it. Thank you for this information.
I have migraine for 25 years and counting. It all started when I had my first period. Since then, it never left me. There are also other two family members who have migraine, but apparently mine is the worst. I know all my triggers but can't control most of them (menstruation, sunlight (my worst migraine attacks are during summer and spring), weather changes, lack of sleep, stress and certain odors). Meditation and controlled breathing sometimes help, as well as massaging neck muscles. For nausea, just a few months ago, I discovered slowly drinking tea with ginger makes nausea go away or at least reduce its intensity.
Acupuncture has really helped me. I have had migraines on and off for the last 15 years. Acupuncture is the only therapy that has helped keep them at bay for months at a time.
Hello, have you heard of thermal micro-cautery as a natural and effective treatment for migraine ?

I'm suffering through chronic migraine since last 3 years, now it's too severe I barely get faint and think that's it, it's too painful.
May Allah give patience and complete cure to all the sufferers, Aameen.
Anyone else here get a feeling of being totally drunk? That lasts even after the actual migraine has passed? I always got headaches but after i had my 2nd child i instantly began having migraines and long suspected hormones were responsible for the initial trigger of my migraine. I will say the best, fastest relief i ever received can't from a dr. who suffered from migraines her whole life. Her father was also a dr and showed her how to push saline through all the Nasal passages for quick relief. Fastest treatment I've ever received. She was also honest and said that is nearly impossible to get a dr to do that bc it doesn't cost enough money!
This is really educational but when I have one migraine headache all I want to do is rip my brain off my head. I had one fot last three days today I feel much calmer and relaxed. God bless them who suffers just like me
How i treat my migraine:
1. Drink “distilled water” to attract salt from the body and towards the urine
2. Turn off the lights ( for light sensitivity )
3. Sit in my bed, don’t lay in bed, it puts pressure in the head.
4. Or lay in bed but make sure you’re upper body is exaggeratedly inclined to reduce pressure on the head due to gravity
5. Take medicine. Paracetamol is good to reduce inflammation
6. Aromatherapy. If you don’t like the smell of your balm. Just stahp.
8. Make sure the temperature of the room is the right temperature that suits you
As the videos says, your senses are exaggerated, so reduce the reception of senses to make your nervous system have a break. Maybe you’re working too hard or not having enough sleep or your diet is too salty or have plenty of MSG. Adjust everything. Give your brain a break.
Can migraine cause unequal pupil for a couple of minutes? Its happening to me

Post migraine is pretty terrible too. I feel so exhausted. Like my body has just been hit by a train. Migraines take a lot of energy out of you and wreak havoc on your body.

Thank you so much. I am glad to read this, its the most accurate and comprehensive explanation I have ever had. At 63 years old, and a sufferer of migraines, sinus problems, and a diagnosis of TN, I have a pretty good idea where it all originates. I'm going to e mail this video to my GP.
As a longterm sufferer of migraines, classic with auras, I can say they do change as you age, at least for me. Less of the horrible headaches, but with vertigo and occasional blindness in one eye. And yes my brain is scarred but I don't miss the headaches.
Yes it's in my upper body now and not my head
My mom had bad migraines that would keep her in bed all day with nausea and vomiting for many years. All the doctors gave we’re meds that just hide the pain slightly. I switched her to whole food plant based diet and she never had a migraine ever since. Not to mention the weight she lost and other symptoms that went away. Just some food for thought.
Am writing from Germany that a very great Video the best I've ever seen . THANK .YOU
We can see that Migräne is a very complicated illness
reached mars but no treatment on migraine 😭
sad😭
Acupuncture has really helped me. I have had migraines on and off for the last 15 years. Acupuncture is the only therapy that has helped keep them at bay for months at a time.
Have you heard of thermal micro-cautery as a natural and effective treatment for migraine ?
Rocket science is far easier, sadly
Are brains are very complexed. We can't even access are Brian's full potential lol.
Acupuncture can cure Migraine. Point H9 will solve the problem simply.
Scaring within the brain part is very interesting!!
I don't know about interesting. More like terrifying. My brain probably looks as fucked as a smokers lungs.
Its scary
I have scarring from MS but no paralysis symptoms (thinking I was misdiagnosed). Medical Medium says it is Epstein Barr syndrome.
@@JoelleisAce Add to that increased risk for stroke. Terrifying indeed.
I got scan and had bad scarring from years of migraines
That explains why I always feel like I've got a sinus infection or I also misinterpreted my symptoms to allergies, wow I did not know this.I suffer from migraines daily
Yep. Runny nose all the time.
Crystal Gail How does the pain headache feel and what’s the symptoms
Are u Okey now? I feel like my gums hurt
Same here, I noticed that I started dealing with chronic catarrh a few weeks after the migraines became chronic. I knew they were somehow connected but didn’t know the science behind how & why.
Got one today.. crippled me, had to leave work - got nausea, blurred vision and needed to take codeine for it. I used to get them nearly every month when I was a teenager. They really debilitate me. A good mitigation tactic I have during migraine is to put my hands and feet into hot water and put ice on my forehead. It works
Migraines are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE when they attack. I couldn't do anything but to vomit, suffer pain all over my face and forcing myself to sleep while being anxious. I hope that all of us will find recovery
This here has a better explanation than any doctor i went to in my whole life .....
migraines can be cured naturally... visit #herbalistehi for review and to be cured too no matter the sickness or disease
Outstanding video! Makes sense that most chronic migrainuers started with episodic migraines but were mismanaged by doctors and progressed to chronic. My longest migraines were 29 days, 31 days, etc and then crossed over into chronic migraines after a neurologist mandated I get 31 botox shots which then triggered encephalitis and autoimmune disease. And no one talks about how migrainuers suffer from gastroparesis and G.I. tract paralysis since the brain controls the GI tract. Autonomic fuckery at its worst. 13 years later I’m so sick I’m finally entering hospice.
I'm currently in severe pain, mine started at the age of 6 when I was in primary school. I'm now 40,so one can imagine the number of years of my pain
Yes....i can imagine. Take care.
I got diagnosed with chronic migraines in November, having migraines with aura everyday is exhausting and its making getting through each day a lot harder.
No sugar, low carb diet is working for me!
Always wished I had the means to fully find a way to stop my migraines. I always believed that my headaches were sinus until I experienced one so painful I had to go to the doctor immediately. He diagnosed me with migraines. I still get the nasal congestion with most of them. I also sometimes get extremely sharp vision before some. Others are the smell of automotive fumes, feces, rotting food or burning smells, light & noise sensitivity. Others are blurry vision & pain at the top of my head that increases as I try to pull information & become lost in brain fog. Others are so much nauseousness from the pain that I have to lie down, not move & just struggle with it. If I can, I will knock myself out with medication, if I can keep it down, & hope it will pass or diminish when I wake up.
I have migraines that can last up to a week. I vomit alot and have lost all sensitivity in one side of my body and also once fainted.. I now use MIGRAITAN as medication. It has SUMATRIPTAN in it. This has helped me very much so I hope that it helps you all too ❤
After looking at the comments section i feel im not the only one although a couple months ago i get migraine rarely once in 1 or 2 months but recently thrice or more than that in a month. It feels like to kill myself rather than suffering from the headaches and feels like my eyes are comming out from my skull. So much strain. I hope someone find a cure for this. I used to laugh when my cousin's tell they have migraine but now i know how it feels.
Best informational video I've found so far.
Have been wanting to understand the experience better
Excellent!
I'm just pounding on the half side of my head when I have a migraine.
I have migraines every 4 months or so and they only last about 2 to 4 hours. While it lasts it's completely debilitating, and I can't even imagine how some people endure it for days on end and have it very frequently. I honestly feel lucky compared to those people. To everyone who has to get through migraines, stay strong.
superb..
information,,, heads off
I’ve been to the ER multiple times last month alone I went 7 times for severe migraines they finally prescribed me with Sumatriptan tablets and it helps I hate taking medication but experiencing this for over 10+ years is ridiculous and extremely painful :(
Do you take it daily or when you get a migraine?
Arie-I’m on Sumatriptan too, I find they are the best so far-and I’ve suffered with migraines for 43 years-mine have really ramped up over the last 5 years - I’m only supposed to take Sumatriptan when I feel a migraine coming on so I’m used to preempting them- the only ones I can’t preempt are the ones that I wake up with in the mornings- so I’m currently taking beta blockers before I go to bed to see if this can prevent whatever is happening when I’m asleep for me to wake up with a migraine
Very spot on 💜💜💜💜
Another invaluable channel, will definitely explore more videos from you, sir, thank you!
I only know my migraine headaches, what pain I experienced and the fact that if I got a migraine I was totally incapacitated for 8 hours or more. Thank God I outgrew them.
I had a migraine in my school and I tried to calm down and drink water. I know it might had not worked but when I got home I already feel better.. I suffered for SO long for the whole day in school suffering in a migraine.. I hope none of you guys got a migraine cuz BOI IT HURTS! HURTS MORE THAN A REGULAR HEADACHE!!
Mine are so bad and constant I sometimes think about killing myself rather than go through this pain I don't understand how this is not considered a disability I wish people could experience the pain I have to deal with sometimes a headache and migraine are not the same I've ended up in the hospital because I've taken too much pain meds trying to get rid of this pain from Excedrin migraine to asprin and acetometophen and trememedol I've tried it all 😭
Really excellent animation and information. My migraines always start on one side of my head and it's the side where I have chronic sinusitis. I'm going to an ENT doc to get this checked out.
I've had bad migraines for a while, waking up in the middle of the night 'cause of headaches. Made some lifestyle changes... Primarily a reduction in inflammation might be what worked for me. Add some turmeric powder to your coffee, with a dash of black pepper to help your body absorb it. Cold water at the end of the shower also helped.
My best friend is going to make the second year of a continued migraine. At the beginning it was so bad, she couldn't speak or leave bed. I wish to understand better what causes it but, even if this video makes it look like there are several obvious things, doctors eventually gave up and stop trying to help because there's not enough information.
Thankfully she's getting better. Now she can even go out a little and take care of herself. She's making big changes in her life and I think that's helping.
Still, I would like to understand how it works deeply, maybe in an easier visual language than the one on this video.... Does anyone know a video like that and would like to recommend it to me?
I’ve had migraines since I was 7 it hurts when it rains
I’ve just found this channel and by reading your comments I know exactly how you feel-I have suffered with migraines since I was 17 and in the last 5 years they have got more severe- I am now 61 and they are more debilitating than ever - I can be in bed between 1-5 days, with vomiting, the pain is excruciating. I have to be still, in bed, in total darkness, total silence and try to sleep as much as I can. It’s ruining my life- I pray there’s a cure out there 🙏
I'm also 61 and I now the migraine has become chronic and I have daily migraines. I take 1 tablet of sumatriptan (50mg) a day and still have to go to bed for 2 hours. You don't have triptans? In the future I hope I can try Ajovy because Aimovig did nothing for me. No one should have to live with this debilitating disease 😪
@@princesscarlet1 Hi princesscarlet- I take Amitriptyline up to 40 mgs at night- Sumatriptan (100 mgs) when I have an attack + Propranolol (beta blockers) 3x40mgs - The Amitriptyline and Propranolol are supposed to prevent an attack but it doesn’t do so- I’m waiting to see if I can get an appointment with a Neurologist- I have no quality of life- I can’t work at the moment as I am unreliable and I can’t get any benefit as they said that I basically wasn’t ill enough - because on my good days I am fit and able- I tried to explain that I wasn’t disabled I just have a debilitating condition. It’s about time the medical profession took this condition seriously - we all need help- I really empathise x
I have been pain-free of Migraines for over 20 years. I found a Dr. who gave me Propanalol (60 mg 3/day) and Amitriptyline (10 mg) one at night, and I have no more migraines. God bless you guys, as migraines make you go to a dark room with no sound, and if you are lucky, you can sleep. I pray you will find a Dr. who can help you. BTW, I'm a man, who was 45 when I found my treatment.
I was diagnosed with "Stress related" migraine, as I had just started a new management job, and, my migraine always struck at 10am on Monday morning in the office.
Bruh when I get a migraine it feels like my right eye is being ripped out bro. I don't even get auras anymore. As soon as half my head starts aching I know it's a migraine.
Mine are behind my right eye, too ... ice pick migraines is what my doc calls it
Cluster headaches?
I'm 13 and have chronic migraines. It's so annoying having to tell people I have migraines. A lot of people say stuff like, "There's no way you have migraines, you're only 13." I started being Homeschooled in 5th grade because I was missing too much school.
im sorry for you, try massaging your brain stem, the brain stem get tight from stress and bad weather and that was causing my cluster migraines, i thought i was having a stroke, or heart attack..
I am suffering from chronic migraine, ( hemiplegic type). 😭 Thank you for this video
I've been suffering from severe migraine since 2003 until now. It's one of the worst feeling ever 😔 wouldn't wish this on not even my enemies
I have a migraine, I do this
Compress my head to get up.
Throw up
Sleep
Repeat
I thought this video did a great job explaining wbhat is going on in my head. The pain is God awful...
Enjoyed your video on migraines. Great info.
I’ve had migraines since I was 12. I had a hemiplegic one once worst day of my life. I have been on 4 different medications and so far amitriptyline is working for me!
Our nervous system is a drama queen 👑
Honestly that's all I've taken out of this😅
May God heal everyone♥️🙏🏻
Wow, the 3D animation of the synaptic transmission, gene transcription, action potential and depolarization are so well depicted!
The flashing lights were a bit of a trigger, though.
Hey everyone! I just wanted to say - check to make sure you don’t have a gluten sensitivity/intolerance as that could be causing your migraines. It’s a major cause that not a lot of doctors or the general public know about. Take care ❤️
I'm looking into this, too. I kind of hope it is that because that would be a fairly easy fix I hope.
Appreciate the advice but yeah that's not it I already tried that too. I hope and pray that it helped you
Every day of my life I have a migraine I’m tired of it
Same here...
Thanks for your kind information
I have had occasional migraine attacks all my life since I was 12. Sometimes even years between 2 occasions. Vomiting, pooping, shivering, skin sensitivity, shaking hands, fatigue. No "common" pain killer helps. But as the pain always goes away in around 5-6 hours and the fatigue the same day, I honestly did not even think it could be migraine.
Couldn’t watch this due to all the flashing lights!
