Absolutely extraordinary graphics. Revolutionary even. However, because of the lifelike quality it is imperative that they make the transition from DEFENSIVE STANCE to SPRINT smoother.
It’s still jarring like last gen and sticks out like a sore thumb because everything else is so flawless.

I remember when they showed next-gen PS4 graphics and it was mind blowing. This just takes it a notch (or two) higher than that. Imagine what the visuals would be like PS8 - - possibly can't differentiate with real-life imagery anymore.

Best get use to these player models because this is what the series will look like throughout the entire life cycle of next gen just like they were on the PS4. We seen a huge jump in the beginning then stagnant from 2K15 to 2K20..

It's amazing that with all the technology they have at their disposal, devs still can't get motion right. I think it's a tactic used to skip some work, relying on the human eye filling in gaps, but it just doesn't work, human movement, especially in sports games, breaks the sense of full emersion. I don't want to see a player "float" through a movement because the devs didn't want to animate every frame of said motion. With these rinse and repeat games where little is changed year after year, not fixing animations is a sure sign of ineptitude or laziness.
It would have been interesting if they had taken the time to motion capture each (most) possible scenario out so that they could create a more convincing movement
@@danieljason4915 I don't even think its about MoCap, animations that are ALREADY MoCapped still don't look right. It's the same with other sports games like Madden. Players don't run on the ground, they move their legs and float across the ground. Players shooting the ball don't move properly either, movement is one of the biggest factors when it comes to realism and they just don't have it, instead they revamp their sweat technology every year.

They are putting out the same exact game every year with a few very minor changes, there was a time (when competition existed) when sports games changed drastically, now we have the same games or even worse than we did in 2006. And enhanced graphics can't be the excuse, not everyone at a game dev works on graphics, and honestly the graphics don't even change much except once a generation. 14 years of sports games basically being the exact same game with small improvements. That is LAZY.
