I can't shake the feeling that I'm seeing myself as a little child when eating pizzas with my hands, like I haven't learnt how to properly utilize a knife and fork. There's something inappropriate about being an adult and still eating foods meant for a plate, with your hands. Hot dogs, kebabs, wraps and stuff like that are airborne by design - but pizzas comes in a large round platter-borne shape that you first cut with your utensils (or the chef does it for you), just to then put the utensils down and pick the slice up with your hands..? What other cutlery-involved foods do you treat that way? In a setting outside of a restaurant, like outside, I would eat a pizza with my hands because of the lack of a sturdy table and utensils, but inside a restaurant I would use a knife and a fork. I just saw the same exact rant about Trump's knife and fork pizza eating the other day, New Yorkers seemed very upset about the way other people eat their own food. I'm from Northern Europe and there's a 50/50 split between using forks or fingers here :)

in defense of the whole fork and knife with fast food thing, here in European countries it isn't uncommon to see people eating ANYTHING with cutlery. I'm currently in Portugal and was surprised when i went to pizza hut and saw multiple tables eating slices with their knives and forks, and the same with KFC.

He eats his steaks exactly like I do except I don't like ketchup, no pink and it turning black only adds flavor, I always tell chef's "Burn it" and then have been known to send it back two more times if it's a filet. I say if the table doesn't shake when I am cutting it then it isn't done enough :-) I also order the same meal sometimes day after day if I like it

If you were to put 50 people in a dinning room, and let them order what they would like to eat... some of them will order the same meal and some will order something different than the rest ... and as far as the " Way" each individual eats their food... everyone will do something different than the person next to them! I used to like my steaks well done. I was in a restaurant that had low lighting and got a medium rare. I took a bite and it was so damn good. I never looked back.
I had nearly the exact same experience which led me to medium rare!
It's a lot easier to digest medium rare, I like rare preferably.
@@barbara-annperry5941 I agree. I had gastric bypass surgery 16 years ago. I can’t digest overcooked beef very well. I still eat very little, but I like to have a small filet mignon cooked medium rare sometimes. I prefer it cooked on a grill. It’s so flavorful that way.
