*NOTE TO ANYONE REMOVING PUMP BEARINGS* The bearings are shouldered on BOTH the front and back of the pump internally & must be removed from both directions. - I used an old railroad spike as a punch, once the shaft and spacer were removed.
I have the 95 STS is it a 2 shaft system? Still trying to get the pump and propeller out. Wish there was a video of it being disassembled from the beggining.
Ive re-installed everything and for some reason when i tighten the shaft with the impeller tool, the impeller itself starts spinning and then it wont free spin. Not sure if i missed something with the re installation
Very cool father son project, congratulations on being an awesome dad!

Could this cause a reduction in speed I just bought a 250 ultra x and im only getting like 42mph
Hi. Yes. A reduction in speed. And a slight noise or vibration.
Hi Eric. Thank you for the video. Did you publish part 2 on reinstalling the bearings? Thanks.
sorry bud it got erased😫
did you ever publish part two?
so sorry bud. it got erase d. when my phone went into the water😩
You know who to replace the same part you change
Do you just grease the bearings with marine grease and re-install?
Nathan Silva
Hi. Yes. Use marine grease to install and don’t be cheap with the grease. Lube it up good.
Thanks. Is their two seals on the same side? Or does one seal go on each side?
Nathan Silva
They both go on the one side. The impeller side. And they both go in the same way. Just stacked on top of one another
Awesome thanks!
