What a gold mine around 48:00!!! Showing Phila Eagles bowling at Playdrome Coliseum bowling alley in Voorhees NJ. It closed not long after this, before I started bowling in 95-96. The coliseum building was a multi-purpose sports building, still in use today. Its awesome to find footage of it since there are no photos of it anywhere online.
Ahh damn it. I feel extra old after hearing Voss advertise that 900 phone number to track how he's bowling. The fact that it was updated daily was a big deal back then. Anything like that was essentially equal to today's internet for me as a teenager. Chat rooms and other stuff like that lol I guess Burkett is living his dream right now since he's bowling PBA50 events now Also, I guess one thing that neither Burkett or Burton can claim to be is that of a Professional Sports Betting Handicapper. Burkett felt that Buffalo would win while Burton said that the Giants were going to smash Buffalo lol
I dont understand...if the lanes are this unpredictable and tough, just move right and pipe it. Bowl Button Jr has noted it ad nauseum. But these guys were hell bent on bending it. 🤷♂️
