  • How I made an RC trailer that can carry two 1/10th scale RC crawlers or two 1/10th scale RC drift cars. All materials were bought at our local hardware store (Home Depot). I hope this helps others looking for something simple and on a budget.

A burned in design would look awesome, great idea! How would this be accomplished and what type of wood would I need?

How do you make the axles for the wheels? Im making my own trailer and bought rc truck wheels but need a way to make it go on the trailer. Any advise?

I used threaded rod and angle aluminum. I put nuts on the inner and outer to fit the hex diameter of the wheels. Not the sturdiest thing but has worked good for a year and I do tow quite often on and off road.

1/10th scale, class 1 or 2 is what fits best. I find class 3 or unlimited is a bit wide. The wheels are drift car wheels I had laying around.

What would you estimate your cost on this project?
