FOR ONCE BEGINNER FRIENDLY COULDN'T BE MORE ACCURATE!!! I have such a hard time finding beginner tutorials that slow down and break down EVERYTHING! Plus she keeps reminding you that you can do this, it really is a beginner friendly tutorial! I was able to pause and rewind and still keep track of what was happening where some videos it feels too easy to get lost. Thank you! So proud of my later project!!!!

Great tutorial and pattern! I noticed you’re using an acrylic yarn, how do you launder it? I’ve always had trouble with this yarn, so I tend to use a cotton or wool blend instead. Any tips are appreciated.

I never had any issues with it. i simply wash on a delicate cycle and then tumble dry low partially and let it air dry the rest of the way. Hope this helps!

It is weird that I just found this today, and 4 days ago, I started a sweatshirt with similar colors, I'm using hunter green instead of orange with cream and light green on top. Same stitch even, but I started from the neck down. It's my first time, so I'm not sure if it's going to work or not, so wish me luck!

Just putting this comment here to see if anyone has any idea. Im a man, and I want to make me and my bf matching sweaters for when sweater season comes about. We're roughly the same height (6'1) and comfortably fit into eachothers clothes. I was wondering if the 3XL would be a good size or if I'd need to go up any? There's probably a super obvious answer here that I'm not seeing but figured I would ask anyways. Great tutorial though, super simple and so cute!

Remember, this is an oversized sweater, so you may be able to go a size down depending on how you'd like it to fit. You really can't mess this up, just measure you and your BFs arm length and waist length. ❤️

Wait so do you chain 2 at the end of each row?

  • @lilypoppy1962

I wish you or someone would reply 😢I’m really trying to do this so at the end of each row I chain 1 extra then I turn and I chain 2 extra. Then I go ahead and do a double crochet or technically i do a sc since I have the 2 long chain as the double crochet… but idk if I’m supposed to chain one at end of each row and then flip and chain 2. Because it seems like my crochet isn’t very straight line looking and I’m wondering if I’m not supposed to be chaining one and then turn chain 2 extra. 😢😢

You have to give me some time to review the video. I can't remember, so I'll review and get back to you after work.

Hi! I started my sweater, I have my lower band done and am 5 rows in......when I lay my work flat, it is more of a rainbow shape than a rectangle. I have counted my stitches and am on track with 82 across (XL size) Should I keep going and it will work out? HELP!!!
