I bought a pair of these in Australia for $317 USD including stands and delivery. Wow! What a bargain. Great speakers. The only downside is the lack of base and treble controls on the remote. But otherwise awesome bang for buck. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the demo, they are interesting speakers edifier. You should do a side by side with the kef ls3, just use your old footage of the kef and set these up playing the same music, in the same room.

I've had the s2000 pros for over a month now, due to your recommendation. I'm thoroughly enjoying them as my living room tv speakers, so thank you!! Vocal mode with +2db treble sounds perfect! On a desk you might wanna lower the treble to +0 or +1 dB because they're closer.
On a side note, do you think you could possibly check out the fairly new Anker Soundcore Motion+? I'm quite impressed by it. The app comes with an equaliser (which is very necessary since the default mode and preset EQs don't sound the best). I'd be really curious to hear your thoughts on it and what EQ settings you might use.

  • @marcohermans3207

How is the test performed? Did you stream over bluetooth or over wifi? Did you used an external DAC with wired connection to the source? Are this FLACS or MP3's . Cd quality or lower? This speaker benefits a lot with combining them to en external DAC with decent interlinks. I prefer the banlanced connections. It's a very good speaker for the money. With a app called poweramp you can tweak the mid frequencies even further.

A few things I can point out don't know if it still has effect. These will have a better sound overall. And if you have your sub on the ground these wil also sound better. Your sub wil go lower but this wil be a bit more accurate. These can go low so yeah. How much do you value base. If base means a lot, you can get these or any other with a sub. (btw any speaker can work with a sub even if it does not have a sub output- look at the back of the svs pb 1000 as an example)
