AKIHITO was born in Fukuoka prefecture in Japan. Between January and October 2000, He won first place in TV Champion's Special Effects Make-Up King Competition three years consecutively. He won Avant-Gard Make-up competition at the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show held in the United States in 1998. In 2002 Akihito moved to the United States. Since living in the United states, he has worked as a sculptor and Special Effects Make-up Artist on PREDATORS, NARNIA 1,2,3,IRONMAN2 ,SHUTTER ISLAND, ALICE IN WONDERLAND,TERMINATOR 4,5 AND JURASSIC PARK4 GUARDIAN OF GALAXY.

1`997, 1999, 2000年「ＴＶチャンピオン特殊メイク王選手権」3連覇。
一流メイク関係者が世界各国から集まる「インター,ナショナル,トレイドショー（米）」アバンギャルドメイクアップ部門で優勝した唯一の日本人。2000年円谷プロダクション「ウルトラマンコスモス」メイン怪獣怪獣デザイナーを経た後、2002年渡米。
独創的なアイデアとセンスで新しい世界に挑戦し続けている新進気鋭の特殊メイク，ファインアーティスト。 現在LAの特殊メイク工房のキーアーティストと活動しているかたわら、ファインアートの世界でも独自の世界感を見いだしている。受賞が難しいと言われるアートbook「SPECTRUM15」３D部門で「Heart of Art」が銀賞受賞。同書16、18、では「Elegant medusa」で金賞、「Wind Messenger」で銀賞を受賞している。
