I'm completely the same with the tendency to read from the library - I own at least 30 books that I haven't read, and yet somehow also feel the need to have 20+ books checked out from the library constantly. It also doesn't help that my university library allows me to renew books pretty much infinitely unless someone puts them on hold...at some point I'm just going to have to get a separate bookshelf for library books. :o
Interested to see what you think of Franny and Zooey, because I hated it when I was a teenager, but appreciated it much more when I reread it this year.

Fun & enjoyment is exactly what I get from all of your videos. Also, don't ban yourself from the library, then you'll kill your tbr quicker and Friday reads won't be a thing anymore, sad sad day. Your new idea for review videos also sounds fab because it means more of your videos so yay! I'm also looking forward to seeing the rumored speed-reading video here.

Hey Baz. I've been binge-watching your videos and it got me thinking about which books from this era will be considered classics, say, a century from now.
I personally love Ian McEwan's writing, so I like to think that at least some of his stuff will be read for generations to come.
I'd love to hear what you think? Which books will our grand-grandchildren pick up, when they want to know about us?

I just love the library! Ever since a friend of mine helped me figure out Overdrive and I can borrow books on my eReader. It's terribly fantastic! I hope you like The Light Fantastic. If you do Mort and Reaper Man are some of my favourites.

Could you do a video on speed reading? Is the result of speed reading that you primarily focus on the main plot line and disregard everything that doesn't directly deal with that? And do you feel that you get as much out of any page as when you do not speed read? Is it a matter of super high concentration?
We've both started 2666, it's long. I think I need to get a bigger text copy (my excuse for never finishing/reading a book I know I should). Has all this reading business just made us prematurely old and we already have eye problems!?

I am with you on banning my library. I have around 550 books on my shelves all genres. Yet I still insist on checking out around 20 books a month. I can only read about 20 books a month. So I'm always reading library books and nothing from my shelves UBER LAME!

Could you possibly make a video a discussing your hate of twilight and the hunger games? Most of book tube agrees that the twilight series are not good, yet in contrast they LOVE the hunger games. It's refreshing that you don't like the hunger games. Please,please make a video about it!

It takes me one month to read a 600 page book... IF THE BOOK IS GOOD :( If it's not then it takes longer. I have no idea why I'm so slow because I like reading and I'm not dyslexic or anything.

It's funny, I'm chilean too, and I have heard about Roberto Bolaño many many times, but I have never read a single book from him (shame) Even more, it's the first time I heard the book 2666. It's just, I feel, I won't like his type of literature. I'm not sure. Although I'm interested in The Savage Detectives.
