  • My Sirus foil and Stab arrived so i was really keen to get out and try them - good to get some practice in on the Cruzader. Really light winds - mostly nothing for the majority of the time. But got up on foil for a couple of seconds at the end
Also tried some stand up paddling when I finished - i tried the weekend before and just kept falling off. With the wider wing its a tiny bit easier and starting to stand up a bit.

Thx 👍 Great news - I hope you enjoy it. I think the main advice i can give is dont compare it to your other boards - its really designed for a different task but the benefts can be massive and its cool to try something a bit different 😋

@EASTCOASTGONGWINGFOILING-sr6kh I was just comparing it as it is one of the other guys boards I was trying nice tho

Looks like you have the Strapped Cruzader with the straps off? How does that feel? raised areas don't bother your feet?

I like without the straps and I can use the bumps to place my feet without looking down
Very comfy - I have my front foot on the bump 😁

Thanks for the video! I am with same setup (only 7’6” strapless board). The 65 cm Alu mast works but you have to be precise with the flight height. The 79cm HM mast gives me more freedom and is noticeably less wobbly. I can fly in 5 to 6 knots (at 65kg) without needing to pump much.
The one thing where I am still struggling is the jibe, especially in light wind (narrow board, large HA foil and large wing getting backwinded is a tough combination). Guess I will need a lot more practice!

I'm waiting for delivery of my hm mast then I can try harder. I'm 110kg so wasn't really expecting to get up on foil yesterday in such low wind 🤣
I'll see how the turning and gybing goes in better wind 🤞

Do you use a titanium fuselage

@@user-ok9eg5ds5x hi yes I do - it's expensive but on bigger wings I will just bend or break the aluminium fuse.
