  • In today's Vlog we will be moving onto the next task... THE CEILING
This was actually one part we kind of knew what we wanted, but how to tackle it was going to be difficult. Since there were only two of us, the biggest conundrum was figuring how to install it. Using a circular saw for the first time, what screws to use, and what varnish to finish it off with.
We cover everything from start to finish and list our materials below. Remember this is what we used based on the research we carried out and items may differ depending on what bus/van you are building. Enjoy!

I just recently started getting the idea that I wanted to do this with a Toyota coaster and then I find this series where you guys are in the middle of it all. This timing could not have been more amazing and you guys are explaining everything so well. For someone myself with not much carpentry experience you are both so inspiring. I check your channel everyday for the next video :))

Hi guys, just watched your full playlist. Seeing you do this has given me the confidence to do it.
I'm trying to convince my husband to go with a Toyota Coaster instead of a full sized bus but he's on the taller side and doesn't want to be hunched over all the time. I was wondering if you could tell me how tall James is and how much clearance he has?
    Thank you so much

Hey! Aww that makes us so happy and very excited for you too! James is 5ft 11 and never has to hunch over. I believe different buses may have different roof heights depending on any modification etc. Ours is perfect but wouldn’t want any lower as then it would be difficult for James. Hopefully an exciting project ahead for you both 😄
