I was about to say the same thing. As lovely the ML and FL are with wonderful chemistry; the repetitive nature of this type of drama is boring. Same for the lying. Lying and hiding your identity is never, ever a good start to a relationship. In a drama or in real life. Neither is the constant bragging, bullying, screaming, arguing and demeaning of the elderly by spoilt, arrogant self absorbed, narcissistic entitled trollops.

Although the ML and FL are believable as a couple, I can’t watch anymore after 1/2 way through. The FL constantly needs to be saved by the ML. She was actually quite pathetic. She can’t save herself! She needs more brains or confidence.

Ok so a beautiful fl and handsome Ml but what can we do about the character of Fl here ,she is like a crybaby always depending on Ml ,I thought her upright and fearless attitude would be shown more but she became dumber every minute the drama progresses ,she can be easily deceived😮💨.
中國劇演出的情況都沒人權，不尊重人，劇情無邏輯，很多看不下去
*Spoilers: ML was cute and funny when he got his wish to marry his crush. ML is supportive even if he is the absolutely worst at maintaining a poor identity because he just wants to give her everything. So FL is a bit dumb as he was so obvious but that is not the really annoying bit.
So 1st - evil sister was cracking grandma Gu's head on the floor, Gu family is the most powerful but girl gets out of jail with minimal help and no follow-up and she continues to be so violent without real repercussions??
FL I wanted to punch more than once. She and evil sister should have at least been equally matched physically yet FL allows evil sister to beat her and choke her and just flops around. Apart from being some kind of religious objector that she can't even defend herself at the most basic level it was just ridiculous.
I am female and no I don't usually condone violence against females but honestly the evil sister was just so violent I have to admit the only part I really liked is that the guys didn't really old back and smacked her a bit when she was crazily attacking grandma. If any person deserved to be smacked it was her and she and the father were so hypocritically ridiculous it was unreal even for the usual villains with no self awareness.
The whole the father makes the FL think she is dying so she divorces the ML and tells him she doesn't love him anymore. I hate this trope. Someone loves and cares for you and rather than tell them you are dying you make them think you were using them and betraying them because those things aren't a bigger mind F**k than someone you care about dying let alone that the person will likely find out you died afterwards and then have to also live without saying goodbye while questioning the betrayal??
I do like that the FL's response to finding out the ML's identity was oh really? I'm angry but that is really cool. I didn't mean I didn't want to marry someone as powerful as you, just someone as powerful as myself because they will probably want to steal my company. Then quickly decided to show of her hubby's power/wealth by outbidding the villains over and over.
I do think Gu outbidding the 100million by bidding 1 billion was a bit much. Common idea but I always find those excessive wastes of money just stupid. More in line with the rich family that squandered their fortune versus a 100+ year old rich family.
Running through all the Negative comments that out weighs the good it leaves very little desire and interest for the audience to have the patience to sit through the entire drama especially with all those repeatedly boring scenes of family members ill-treating one another, squabbling, bullying and worst still they made the FL so helpless and defenceless and inspite of the repeated times of being so badly treared her own family she still turned down the help offered by others to accompany her each time when she returned home to visit her good riddance off half sister and a condemned wicked father to protect her from the constant harm and ill treatment over numerous times in the past. Looks like she has never learned her lesson and she didn't even report them. She also never doubted to go for a second medical test when when told that she had contracted an in curable disease. This is totally ridiculous. Writer please do away with all those ideas of making your ML and FL look so bad, dumb and stupid without a mind of their own to stand up and defend themselves. The way you are doing it is only encouraging the viewers to post something bad about their acting skills and public image thus ruining their prospect of being liked and become a favourite fan of the viewers. The public is targeting on them because their faces are plastered all over in front of the screen while you are hiding behind and sheltering yourself from all these criticism. This is not fair to them. Please do them a favour. Please come up with something more convincing and logical plots next time. They need the public support and good reviews to be likeable and win the hearts of the viewers too. They are the poor victims. Using good looking ML and FL does not necessarily mean that you are making good dramas. It's the contents, the script, the core materials and the plot and the storyline that determines how the drama is rated not the other way round. I am one of the many of the viewers who have to skip so many times to cut the crap out of those nonsensical scenes.
