Slow Bath Filling - 2 Hours - For ASMR / Relaxation / Sleep Sounds

- A few months ago, someone asked me to record my bath filling up very slowly. The tap was just trickling into the tub so it actually took over an hour to fill it up. Part of the recording has been looped a few times to increase the length to 2 hours.
All photographs and sound files used to create this video have been created by me. I never use any content belonging to others to create my videos!

Many bath vids, but this is the sound I was looking for. Takes me back. Such good memories of laying by the tub with a towel over me and a towel pillow under my head. As the water got higher, I’d feel little drops splash on my face and it was so tingly and wonderful. Sometimes the light would be on or off. There were also times I would get in the empty tub, turn water down low to hear it trickle out and feel the warm water slowly rise up over my body. More tingles. I don’t have a tub now, so this helps bring back those good memories.
For years I thought I was the only one that did this. Glad to know there are many others who have benefited from this wonderful therapy. Reading your stories as I listen makes it twice as good. Thank you for sharing! Be well all. 🥰
It was me! I asked you to fill the tub more slowly in order to get the low tone (distant sounding) drumming on the bottom of the tub. This is marvelous, gives me shivers just to listen to it. Reminds me of when I was a kid (60 years ago) and I loved listening to this sound during my bath time. I would sit on the bathroom floor tucked into a corner. I would close my eyes and this sound would just make me feel so warm, safe and tingly. I have an app on my phone that sounds similar to this that I use every night for sleep. Wish you had tub collection on an app, I would love to have it. Thank you!
Great, glad you found this video and sorry it took me so long to do the recording! I will need to look into the possibility of making my recordings available on a phone app in future.
@@SoundsToBlowYourMind I think many of us would love for you to compile an app. We could download it and play it on our phones whenever we needed a soothing sound.....sleeping, flying, etc.
@@pjr7754 Yes, it would be so good to not have to stream it, for those places you can't stream or when your connection fails. Just soothing sounds anywhere. It would be great for the doctor's waiting room or in line at the DMV.

Reminds me of when I was a kid in the best years of my life (so far) I was in the room right next to the bathroom and my step dad would get home and take a bath every night I would fall asleep to the noise of it filling up or even just the noise of him splashing around

This video is great! I had similar feelings at bath time when I was a child too! Used to love listening to the water running slowly into our big, old lions claw tub! The only thing that would make this better would be if it were longer. Thanks!
Mary Jane.....We had a big cast iron claw foot tub when I was a kid too! It made the best sounds when I ran water into it slowly, and you are right...it is always better if it were longer. I am a widow now and sometimes I go into the bathroom, sit on the floor and run water into my tub and think about when I was a kid, and that claw foot tub. It calmed me then and the thought of it calms me now.
I found a mini old clawfoot, dressed her up, and put her in an upstairs bath addition just so I could relive these experiences I had as a kid! Sometimes old habits don’t die, they just grow bigger, turn into dreams, and make a creative reality. I can listen to this, and make even more memories. 💤

This was always my favorite sound. I could turn the water down low so it took a long time to fill the tub and made the experience last longer. So relaxing and melodic. Sometimes I laid by the tub on towels and others I would get in and feel the water rise up over my body. Pure bliss. Some good ASMR.
