08 vw Jetta doors got stuck close after I removed the handles when I put them back I didn’t realized I put the cable back to tie in needs to be back in the center so it works good after I did that doors work great.

@@oliviamo4490 hi Olivia. Unfortunately I never did. I took the door to a dealer, there were talks of breaking the door lock, and a hefty replacement, and repair bill thereafter. I wasn't quite ready for any heavy expenses on the rear back door lock issue. My three other doors are working just fine, the none functional one is on hold, likely for ever. Were you able to find a cost effective solution to your same model as mine, back door lock issue? Are there any trade secrets in that regard you would wish to share?
