Nice video!
I live in Libertyville and I've been to that spot once recently. Every horn made my stomach drop.
Nice shots! Love that crossover at 19:33
I go biking across that bridge all of the time! I love the views of the trains crossing. Great junction 👍
Nice video👍😀 Like!
I'm impressed. It is beautiful. Regards from Wrocław, Poland.
Again Metra put a K5LA on a F40 again! :)
Awesome work Mike. Glad to see a video from you again!
Nice video, one of my favorite spots to railfan!
Nice overhead view!
This junction was even much more exciting when the North Shore Line was running up above the Milwaukee Road tracks now METRA, AMTRAK, CANADIAN PACIFIC AND WISCONSIN SOUTHERN. The EJ& E was also much busier before CN acquisition.
Please make more videos. I want you to make videos again. Please
I love the music you put on
The view from the North Shore Bike Path in Lake Bluff, Illinois is incredible!! I want to visit that and spend a whole day up there filming!!
NS is one of my favorite trains...
@williampopa4749: If you drive to Hegewisch ILLINOIS in South East Chicago you'll see plenty of Norfolk &Southern Freights when you park in the South Shore parking lot and also catch them at the "AVENUE O" RAILROAD CROSSING.
The former EJ&E TRACK now CN sees practically no service. It use to be much busier when it was the "J" line before. Just one track when there use to be 2 tracks. I wonder if it's going to be abandoned!?
awesome video Trainman Knight thanks do you have old videos of L AND N st louis line?
Please make more videos. I Miss seeing trains you film.
He is a signal maintainer now
Nice vid
What kind of railroad crossing bell was that, and great video mike.
Safetran type 3 e bell which has been set to a high pitch.
What rail lines (RR Company and Subdivisions) are those?
CP C&M Subdivision, CP Fox Lake Subdivision, CN Waukegan Subdivision
Note about the C&M Sub: South of Rondout, Metra maintains and owns the track. While North of Rondout, CP owns and maintains the track. Dispatching is handled by CP for the entire subdivision.
Note about the Fox Lake Sub: Metra owns and maintains the track. Dispatching is handled by CP.
