this sucks, heh I remember I would play this game every night, all that hard work just so they could update it and then shut it down... regardless this game introduced me to the Date a Live universe. ahh those were the days. this game will forever be my heart :(
I knew something was up a year ago when the "updated" version launched it was missing so much content for such a long time. So I jumped ship and it looks like I was right in doing that.
@@ManofCasualrie The visuals and performance were the only real improvements. Everything else including down to the ui all took a massive dip in quality.
The game would never be able to compete with the other gachas that were releasing punishing gray raven and honkai impact 3rd had way better management and handled their games better but I just can't see date a live doing that because for one they never advertised their game or maybe they did and I just didn't notice and like you said the of lack of content which was far behind the Jp version honestly that already ruined the game for me their discision to release a game before the global version was a huge mistake
I stopped playing this awhile back. I was considering coming back at one point, but I found out that the global version removed all of the dates. I mean, taking away all of the dates in a game called "Date Alive: Spirit Pledge" is like making movie about the life of Jesus Christ and omitting the Crucifixion/Resurrection.
Its sad to See, that a game from my favourite anime is getting closing is Just sad man. What a dissapointment for Global players, i will never play any japanese Version games, thats why if they dont Release or keep it going on global, they will never attract the Global players to japanese Version games.
@@OurFavDani It's not available in any playstore except Japan (and China still has there version). You would have to use a vpn and download an app from Google called quoapp. Most good vpns aren't free, so I wouldn't risk it unless it's a JP game that you REALLY want to play that badly.
it's always sad to see a game shutting down whether it's gatcha, mmo, fps, etc

I was a Yoshino main, I put down the game for a bit after HD then I couldn't find it on the playstore, absolute devastation

Noooooooo i want to download
Is this published by Crunchyroll? probably the most known reason why some good anime-based gacha games shut down.
It's not published by Crunchyroll. The global devs just quit and some joined the jp team.
why did it shutdown
They learned the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" the hard way.
@@majingrimlock976 gonna miss the game I was an inverse Tohka main I had all her outfits everything at max and SS gems
@@JoeyA1 I had her and a few other spirits maxed out, including collab spirits like Blanc. It definitely sucks.
Ouch
I just planning to download it without knowing that it would be goodbye
No more date a live?
No more Global sadly. I'm playing JP now, it's just taking time to grind.
