We took in Zay when he was just 16yrs old and it's truly been a joy to see him grow into a mature and responsible teen. We are thrilled he is visiting us with his girlfriend for a month. We know our animals are excited to see him and I'm sure he is excited to play his Nintendo, watch inside out 2 and may be catch up on my favorite football teams Chelsea vs man city.

You know you did something right when they want to come back and visit.
It's is a testament to Peter doing something right for sure!
However you can do everything right and you foster children still may not come to visit anyway, for any number of reasons. Humans are complicated!
@@JaneDoe-ci3gj Yes, I know. I was raised with foster kids. They were always apart of our family. My mom’s motto was if you walk through her door you were family like it or not. I do therapeutic foster care for people with disabilities as a matter of fact most of family does. Like my mom always said the more the merrier.

Yea Zay, thank you for sharing your life with us. My son was an orphan here in Egypt where I live, we brought him home at 7 months, and he loves watching you and seeing that no matter how hard things can be, confused feelings, different emotional issues, he see’s your ok, and that your are so loved. He will never get to meet his real parents because he was dropped off at the door of a mosque and no one knows who his parents are. Watching your life helps other kids too. We love you!
When Zay laid his head on Peter’s chest , that melted my heart . He never forgot the love that Peter gave him .

Back in the 1950s & 60s watching planes arrival & departure was a real treat. Especially if it was at night, the lights were fastening. My eighth grade graduation in 1964 party, was even held at the airport for that reason.

It's great to see that Zay is doing well. Maddie seems like a lovely young woman and I'm happy that he has found someone special. It's very heartwarming to know he is back with his mother and siblings. Prayers that living in Kansas works out and that Zay continues to thrive. Not gonna lie, I was a little worried when he first left your home and moved in with a family he met over the internet. You're all lucky to have each other as part of his forever family.

I just found you, and I wanted to say you are an amazing human being. I was that lost child left behind. My story is a bit long, and I dont want to make this about me. I will say it involves 2 parents that were drug addicts, being left on the streets, sleeping in cars, etc etc, and I know if there was someone like you around, my life would've been a lot different. Ive turned my life around eventually, having a family of my own, 7 free yrs of addiction myself, and its made me stronger, but seeing you taking care of these children shows me how different kids are when they are loved. Thank you.
Zay was always a favorite of mine! I’m happy to see he’s doing well and reunited with his bio family! And of course, it’s great to see him with a lovely young lady like Maddie. (Sorry if I spelled names wrong!)
I was being fostered at the age pf 12-13 years old till I became the foster mom figures my self at the age of 17, those years in my life truly changed and healed my out bringing toxic understanding about love and being loved. my real dad used to demand something in order for him to threatening me nice, but my foster dad taught me a true essence of love and sincerity. I wish to God that one day I can find another kind soul like him in my life

There need to be more movies about the innocent victim's side of the adult's drug addiction trauma. Children don't deserve to have their lives destroyed. They are just trying to be loved by their parent, whichever parent.

It was to wonderful seeing Zay again. He has grown up and is doing well. I was so moved when Zay placed his head on Peter's shoulder. It was such a sweet moment. I'm glad Maddie connected with Skylar (I forgot her new name). It's good for her to be around an older girl. Just so you know, lies do not have a color. It's a lie no matter why you said it.

Hey Peter, just wanted to tell you to keep the little ones riding in the back seat of the car until they are at least 12 years old.
Yes I was concerned seeing Isabella in the front seat. Children have been suffocated by exploding airbags as it hits them in the face. Also, the seat belt cuts sharply across her neck and her head isn't yet against the head -rest.
