I have a question what happend if you do 2 long cables instead of long/short does long/long works as well or it will mess up the straight cables ?

The way straight cables work is that both cables make contact with a wall at the same time, allowing you to be propelled forwards without the delay from normal cables, by launching 2 long cables they will esentially just be normal cables as they won't hit walls at the same time

Idk bro sometimes my long cable is attaches to the wall quickly so I can't short cable.

Its because your long cable is attached to the wall at the moment when you're trying to release the short cable.
So, Either you do it fast and get straight cable or do it slow and get double sound cable.
Release the short cable when the long cable touches the wall and your short cable doesn't get released at all.😆
