American Dipper DIVES for Salmon Eggs 🐦🍣🥢

American dippers are North America's only truly aquatic songbird. They have a unique foraging style that involves diving under the surface of fast-flowing streams, and swimming along the riverbed to find food. 🌊 For most of the year they feed on aquatic insects, larvae, and the occasional small fish. 🐟 However, at this time of year, during the salmon run, they are treated to a delicacy, and that is...fresh salmon caviar!
