  • Hi Everyone, Mark Wood here. I want to share with you a wonderful experience Incorporating the power of collaboration.
As you know, Wood Violins and my educational outreach program Electrify Your Symphony are examples of innovative thinking and engaging the future of music education. I have been committed to supporting and inspiring the future generations of students from Elementary schools to universities. And for over 25 years, we have been performing concerts and workshops, partnering with the teachers, parents and communities to help navigate a progressive thinking process and creating new ideas and solutions.
We have created dozens of “electric Orchestras” around the country. Expanding the reach of music to incorporate diversity and inclusion in our music classes. Our mission with Electrify Your Symphony is all about developing creative and emotional intelligence.
Recently, we have been partnering with the great company called ShopBot who created an incredible CNC machine that helps manufacture my electric instruments.
So, how do technologies and manufacturing move us forward with innovation?
Wood Violins and ShopBot are companies committed to innovation.
This unique partnership with WV and ShopBot will become the new template for companies looking to expand their reach and quality into inspiring the future entrepreneurs.
    Music and CNC thinking!
So, a little bit about ShopBot:
While the most obvious application of CNC technology might seem to be in wood shops and the industrial arts, the educational use of ShopBots goes much deeper. Elementary, middle, and high schools are using digital fabrication to help further STEM and STEAM curriculum objectives.
Exactly the philosophy of my companies!
Collaborating and partnering with progressive thinkers and innovators is our future. So, with Wood Violins and ShopBot we have the perfect model for success!
