Pardon me for mansplaining my song choice, but it is VERY important to me that y'all know what I was going for!! So! I chose this song because for me, the line "the day between" is symbolic of Nancy & Ace's time together in the alternate timeline. "The day between the soil & the sky" - 'the soil' being the grounded/hard reality, and 'the sky' being an ideal/wishful reality. Nancy got to experience the latter with Ace, but it was quickly erased by the former - so that time and that memory of hers IS, literally, "the day between" those two spaces. Yeah I'm ready to fling myself into the sun 🥰
