- Idiots Assemble: Spitting Image the Musical is coming to the West End!
It’s like a West End musical, but funnier, and without Michael Ball.
Starts 24th May at the Phoenix Theatre.
Tickets are available NOW at SpittingImageTheMusical.com.
---------------------
It’s like a big West End show but without the boring bits.
Marvel at a stellar line-up of over 100 puppets of the great and the not so good, live in the (latex) flesh.
See Tom Cruise as you’ve never seen him before as he’s tasked by His Majesty The King to create the U.K.’s very own “Magnificent Seven” of celebrity misfits to save the nation from a cabal of dark forces seeking to destroy it - that’s all the usual suspects. And James Corden.
Don’t miss this theatrical spectacle as all your favourite villains face off with Tiny Top Gun Tom and his band of rubbery heroes. There’s songs. There’s dancing. There’s absolutely no respect paid to anyone.
All this plus new topical material in the show as and when it arises. Which, let’s face it, with the current global situation will be most days…
It’s just like a West End musical but funnier and also doesn’t have Michael Ball in it.
Master of Ceremonies: Sir Ian McKellen.
Starring “The Magnificent Seven”: Tom Cruise, Greta Thunbeg, Meghan Markle, Tyson Fury, RuPaul, Angela Rayner and Idris Elba
Also Featuring: Ant & Dec, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Keir Starmer, Stormzy, Vladimir Putin, The Tory Party Cabinet and many many many many many more
Direct from a 5-star sell-out run at Birmingham Rep, witness this hilarious extravaganza of a musical, simultaneously inspired and appalled by real events.
Written by a tour de force comedy team made up of Al Murray (The Pub Landlord), Matt Forde (The Political Party) and double-Olivier award winner Sean Foley (The Upstart Crow, The Play What I Wrote), who also directs, alongside a creative team spearheaded by the original Spitting Image co-creator, Roger Law, this is sure to be the must-see theatrical spectacular of 2023.

The Stage
They need to take the example from the Japanese Kabuki theater and have the human element wear all black because I tend to stare at them more than I do the puppets.
Stop staring at men David
Went to see this as someone that does not normally enjoy theatre - but this had me laughing before the curtain went up. They have perfectly captured the spirit of Spitting Image and if you are considering going I would grab the chance. (I travelled 2.5 hours each way, but worth it!)
This is going to be highly entertaining! You guys need to get us more content. We need a season 3.
Too right! They took it off BritBox without so much as a goodbye. We need all the episodes from the Classic and New series available for streaming or purchase online again! And for good measure it would be great if they could make a feature length of Idiots Assemble.
Are you Japanese?
Constantly laughing the whole way through. What an amazing production. The funniest show I’ve seen in years.
I’m seeing it next week in London!
Gads..I wish I could see that too…love spitting image…
I wish that I could see this!
Fastong American actors for historical or contemporary image shows is a thing of the future
I was curious what Tom Cruise was going to sound like without John Dimaggio. Also I like the previous Ant & Dec Spitting Image puppets better ( from " Best Ever Spitting Image " ).
Tome cruise Awesome
Love them, especially Greta thunberg, lol in america!
I miss the leader of the free world, president Joe Biden. He needs to be featured in Spitting Image in my humble opionion.
I thought it was canceled?
No, the stage show has only just been announced.
Still don't see Biden being a fool!
You obviously missed the Biden Special.

Yes, stage shows often have more than one performance.
Um no.
