I stayed at the Headlands Hotel in Mevagissey in 1999 for the total eclipse and I thought you were going to say you did not have a super car because of the narrow streets there and the narrow lanes in Cornwall, but your house has exceptional views.
Well I must apologise. Here was me thinking this was some shameless advertising of your holiday house for rent presented under the flimsy excuse that 'people' had asked to see it. But right at the end 15:10, you actually invited us to stay if we like the place. Thanks very much, I'll take the 2nd week in September. Its a bit of a drive from where I live but the free accommodation more than makes up for it.
Do you mind if we share that week, there’s only 2 of us plus my neighbours kids and their friends with the cats. It’ll be a blast. We’ll only use half the wine fridge to keep the buckfast at the right temp.looking fwd to it!
Rule of thumb is your car shouldn’t be worth more than 10% of the value of your house. Otherwise you are driving beyond your means. Ped probably can’t afford any car now.
I have a massive and beautiful house in Dorset with stunning views to Portland and Weymouth but still, every summer I go to Portugal... I still feel the need to go abroad... in my view you can’t be small minded... with all due respect have you been abroad like algarve , Miami, Mexico brazil... I have been there and , it’s a different level mate... I can’t wait to buy my house abroad... don’t take me wrong, we have stunning places in the Uk, but we are in a lower league... not premier, not championship maybe league one ... best regards

Highly impressive and it clearly means a lot to you both. We are moving as well and I have a project to fully refurbish a four bedroom, four bathroom, three storey house...which means that if we get it in September, I have 5/6 months of work before we move in! Far better than a supercar...like you, we might have bought a Ferrari Pista and a Bentayga for shopping but that would be a rather short sighted decision..so I get to enjoy a lot of emulsion paint, renew my carpentry skills and build my all new garage and workshop...at last!!! Peter..well done again...I hope you get flooded with enquires...but there was one vital thing...where do we park the car?...or do I get a 51 plate Micra to leave out on the road? Safe driving Peter...enjoy that view...just wonderful!!!😀😀😀😀😀

Hello Peter! Well, what can I say? Superlatives fail me completely! You can’t live in a supercar. The balance you have with the fleet and both beautiful homes is a credit to you both. All the best to you both with your venture! 🥂 I could have a big V6 something, but I have a 32 foot motor boat instead which I enjoy using, or just pottering about on. My partner and I have had many an evening meal on the aft deck, watching the sunset, drinking some nice chilled wine. Bliss. Best wishes from the Wirral, as ever.

But is it a Belfast sink or a Butler sink? Hmmm... That's got you all thinking. A lot of people always call those sinks "Belfast sinks", but a lot of them are actually Butler sinks*. Definitely a lovely house PP. Especially if you suffer from achromatopsia** :-))... Nice to see that Mrs. PP had a say in the clothes you were to wear when showing the house. You matched very nicely too ;-))... Hmmm... Lovely Cornish house in Mevagissey or a Supercar? Err... It's a no brainer. Mevva's a lovely place, though I've not been there for years. However, if I was ever to get a supercar, I'd either go for a 4wd 911, new Targa S4 is stunning, or Ferrari GTC4 lusso. * "The Belfast sink is a variation of the Butler sink; the only difference being that, traditionally, the Belfast had an overflow and the Butler had a shallower bowl with no overflow. Great choice. We run 2 converted barns in West Dorset as holiday homes rather than owning a supercar. It can be hard work to maintain the best standards, hope your guests treat all your hard work with respect!

Stunning! Gorgeous view, we live in yorkshire and we go to cornwall quite a bit. Been to st austell a number of times and driven through mevagissey on our way to lost gardens of heligan. Will definately look at staying here PP! And dogs welcome is a bonus as we have a sprocker

Lovely house would go well with my Dacia Duster and Vauxhall Viva. My days with expensive cars have gone we spend on holidays, good food and wine! Keep up the great videos. I’ve had many lovely holidays in St Ives and Padstow.
What a stunning house and I totally agree that this is a brilliant investment. With the exception of some supercars, most cars loose value whereas your house will gain value. You and your wife have clearly spent a lot of time and love on the house and it shows. I sincerely hope that you'll get many bookings with people who enjoy it. The view is simply amazing. Just one comment based on personal experience of having owned 3 holiday cottages (my parents), I think an open fire or wood burner would have been the icing on the cake. We had them in all our properties and always received extremely positive feedback about this feature - especially from people who stayed in the colder months.
We considered that as we love an open fire or wood burner. They are a pain to manage in a rental but the big problem was the cost of getting one installed in this house 😢
It felt like I was watching an episode of grand designs. Nice ariel shots & beautiful views. The house looks immaculate, it would be a pleasure to stay there👍❤🙂.

Yes your right .it's a beautiful view . And such a good idea have a holiday home in UK . We did something similar but bought a villa in Cyprus. It's worth all the struggle eventually. Trouble is we don't always get out to Cyprus as often .

Spent some time in Cornwall in the early 2000s. Fantastic town filled with awesome people. It's very similar to an area here in South Africa called Simons Town in the Western Cape.
What a location! That's a perfect view, like you said always something happening looking down to the sea. I am from South Wales in the Afan Valley and am lucky to have beautiful views of the countryside but you can't beat a view of the sea, awesome home mate.
Definitely the right decision! What a fabulous home! Anyway..who needs supercars? I must be getting old! I have just changed cars from an Astra GTC 2.0L Diesel (a lovely car to drive but and absolute disaster to own...) to a KIA 1.0L Picanto and I love it!

We became enamoured with Cornish life and its tranquility and gave up racing for a different life down here. Live 5 mins outside Meva. Lovely house would go well with my Dacia Duster and Vauxhall Viva. My days with expensive cars have gone we spend on holidays, good food and wine!

What a stunning house and I totally agree that this is a brilliant investment. With the exception of some supercars, most cars loose value whereas your house will gain value.
You and your wife have clearly spent a lot of time and love on the house and it shows. I sincerely hope that you'll get many bookings with people who enjoy it. The view is simply amazing.
Just one comment based on personal experience of having owned 3 holiday cottages (my parents), I think an open fire or wood burner would have been the icing on the cake. We had them in all our properties and always received extremely positive feedback about this feature - especially from people who stayed in the colder months.
We considered that as we love an open fire or wood burner. They are a pain to manage in a rental but the big problem was the cost of getting one installed in this house 😢
It felt like I was watching an episode of grand designs. Nice ariel shots & beautiful views. The house looks immaculate, it would be a pleasure to stay there👍❤🙂.

Yes your right .it's a beautiful view . And such a good idea have a holiday home in UK . We did something similar but bought a villa in Cyprus. It's worth all the struggle eventually. Trouble is we don't always get out to Cyprus as often .
I've tried fishing off the harbour wall there many years ago...without much success ! Stunning view.

Spent some time in Cornwall in the early 2000s. Fantastic town filled with awesome people. It's very similar to an area here in South Africa called Simons Town in the Western Cape.

What a location! That's a perfect view, like you said always something happening looking down to the sea. I am from South Wales in the Afan Valley and am lucky to have beautiful views of the countryside but you can't beat a view of the sea, awesome home mate.

Definitely the right decision! What a fabulous home! Anyway..who needs supercars? I must be getting old! I have just changed cars from an Astra GTC 2.0L Diesel (a lovely car to drive but and absolute disaster to own...) to a KIA 1.0L Picanto and I love it!

First came across your channel searching for info on Minis & Q2 EVs, then stumbled across this by chance. Similar background & interests, although I'm Mechanical. We became enamoured with Cornish life and its tranquility and gave up racing for a different life down here. Live 5 mins outside Meva. If your down drop me a line for a SheSells Coffee & cake (after Aug!). Guess someone will some day re-build on the old house in front of you though. Nice spot !!
