- After the untimely demise of our Phantom 2 due to a close encounter with a palm tree, we were drone-less for an excruciating few months toward the end of last season

Seeing Cape St Francis again after some 60 years was a real treat. Back in the 50s when we lived in ZA, we had a fishing shack on the Kromme River. This footage must be across the river on the way to the lighthouse -- assuming the lighthouse is still there. The beach to the left of the Kromme went for miles of white hot sand and no rocks and no people. Across the river there was nothing except sand dunes. It is now developed. Often toyed with the idea I need to go back for a visit (live in the US).

Not sure if you guys realize, but over the years you have become professional film makers. I'm not just talking about the technical specs of your equipment. I'm talking about the great composition of the shots, the great editing, the awesome storytelling.

Phantom 4 with built in lightbridge that gives it a 3km+ video downlink range, and built in forward facing avoidance technology, makes it the best drone on the market at this time for its price range, but I am no fan of Dji after sales service, recommend a ND filter kit to get the best out of the camera. Look forward to some stunning aerial footage during Delos's travels
That was a masterpiece......however, as nice to look at, as she is, that was a very dangerous activity doing the hula hoop on those rocks. We loose people every year, a few miles from my home, when rogue waves sweep them out to sea while they are walking on wet rocks. Be careful. Signed Grandad.

There are generally two types of videos from Delos: 1.) the episodes (currently at Nr 73 ). those come every other week on frieday and are generally longer. The content of those is a YEAR behind! ... 2.) small bits and pices ... like this drone fotage .. interviews etc ... that content ist a lot more current ... Thats why you get shift in styles and most importantly changing people. Max, Frida, Babs and Josie all left Delos most likely after last season ended.

what other type of video equipment do you use besides the drone and GoPro? just curious
How has the drone been doing in the salt air? Have you had any problems with it? (other then the tree problem) One things i will say it really has changed the way your videos have been with the great views you could not seen with out it.
