Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest game in the long-running franchise that has been entertaining fans since the mid-1980s. Proving itself to be a series with staying power, FighterZ ramps up the formula for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Dragon Ball FighterZ, as its name suggests, is a fighting game with a huge roster of characters. In a similar vein to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, players each select three characters that then form the basis of their teams. While gamers can only control one character at a time, they are able to switch between each of their chosen characters at any point during a match.
The list is huge, so there are endless options to choose from. As it’d be impossible to name them all, we’ve compiled a list of the ones that we think are the most exciting:
• Gohan: the son of series protagonist Goku and his wife Chichi.
• Gotenks: a fusion of Goten and Trunks, appearing alongside Trunks in-game.
• Piccolo: a character allying himself with the Z Fighter army of androids.
The positioning of FighterZ in the Dragon Ball universe is something that fans will be intrigued to learn. Some sources have noted that Goku and Vegeta are wearing their usual Gi armour, placing the game after the events of the Universe 6 saga.
When it comes to performance, fans will be pleased to learn that Dragon Ball FighterZ will run at 1080p resolution and 60fps on Microsoft’s Xbox One. I love in the show Goku when he did his blasts, he had a deep roar, a bit different than most of his Kamehamehas. Kinda wish he had those here too.
Supposedly his quietness is to signify his enhanced control over the form, but al it does is make omen more impactful by contrast and mastered look weaker.
I think they have it backwards.

@Nik3 in XenoVerse he dodges attacks if you don't move him and if you use him right he can be pretty op
They could of did better with the Aura in my opinion. You can't tell me the Aura particles and meshes they freshly made in XV2 didn't 100% represent how it looked in the show. And don't take this comment as if I'm "dissing" FighterZ when I play the game. This is my own critique, other than that this character is going on my teams and well worth the time unlike Kefla. I'm curious of everyone's predictions of the next 3.
Nik3 honestly, regarding characters, the only thing I hate about FIGHTERZ is that there is no good reason that justifies them refusing to put alt costumes in the game. Like, I get that some costumes would be too much work and all but come on... Gogeta SSJ and UI Goku Omen models are literally IN THE GAME yet for some reason they don’t let us use them. Meanwhile, V I D E L is the only character with a goddamn alt costume. What is the logic behind that?

Not to mention it can be a beam or a basic attack. The sheer amount of cross-ups mean this character will be completely untouchable in the hands of a pro player.
It's always like, one month when every match online is raided with the new character, then we go back to our normal routines of bardocks, vegitos and Teen gohans mashing pretty hard the all mighty LLLLLLLLL
Problem is this is goku and hes meant to look badass all the edgelords will pick him trying to counter you so badly
Well with season 3 it’s still been more variety than any other season so I can see higher level players possibly picking him up still.

Funny enough, despite there being so many Gokus, UI Goku looks like one of the most unique chars in FighterZ. They truly did him justice
His damage is fine, movement is clean and supers do some damage and also look clean! He’s definitely gonna be on A or S teir
Damage is hard to tell because in arcade mode enemy teams get buffed health
However, he's gonna be a complex character to learn because apparently he has nine special moves. People are gonna pick him up and drop him after the first week 😂
Only down side is that it looks like he has a low damage level 1 but at least you can spend an extra bar

@Blake Townsend counter - what he gets seems dependent on what he's countering which means it'll reward reactions overplain predictions. Good against people who are unga bunga in neutral (bardock lariat etc)
Flip rekka - mega reactable so you'll for sure need assists, or else you'll probably get hit out of it
Upward ki blast - great full screen to jail jumpers, will be fantastic with a good assist
Beam - it seems like the beam might be used for counter zoning (flipping over straight beans and projectiles) so that's pretty good
Normals - his normals look really great for staggering because of the way they flow into each other, plus low hitting 2l
I think he'll be good but reliant upon assist, so probably on par with everyone else (a tier)

He'll also get good damage in the corner, he'll most likely be able to wall bounce the multi hit move into a heavy, then into 2s for a super dash like ssj Goku or jiren

You will have to use a assist to cover though because of its long start up time but the half bar version is faster then both which is a plus
