      My son bought his on the 22/12/22…saved for two years. Stolen two days later from outside the very bike shop he bought it from. Make sure you lock your bike and keep it safe. He loved the bike with the one ride he had. Greetings from Australia.

    In the Top 3 of my bike list, good specs for the dollars too👍👍

    Seeing these spec'd with Stan's Flow D rims, but they all seem to be coming with the WTB i30 rims. Can you comment on the two rims? I have really only heard bad things about the OEM WTB rims being cheap and getting dented / untrue easily. The entire spec otherwise looks super dialed. I know one can just ride until they fall apart, but is this something i should expect quickly?

    • @RobSeymourbikes
      @RobSeymourbikes  Před rokem +1

      You know, I’m not too sure. I’m aware it was supposed to come with the Stan’s rims, but didn’t think about it much till after. I haven’t ridden either rim until now and I’ve only got the one ride on this bike so far. I’ll ride them till they fall apart or until I sell the bike. For now they seem fine.

    • @Anderson.Gunn.
      @Anderson.Gunn. Před rokem +2

      I got wtb rims with mine and I previously had a 2020 norco fluid fs3 with the i29 wtb and had no problem with them. I would say one of the best alloy on the market. Especially for the price.

    Just wondering is the rear shock have the lock out?.i s the rear suspension active on the road. Can't really find info about and I'm just about to pull the trigger on this bike, but my local bike shop don't have any in stock or similar stock bike. Have order it in.
    I'll use the bike for short commute as well so bit concerned about suspension lock.
    Any info greatly appreciated🙂.
    I seriously can't remember how many I watched this video just to look at the bike😂 love it.
    I've seen another video of this bikewith the blue color can't decided which color to pick now😀.

    • @RobSeymourbikes
      @RobSeymourbikes  Před rokem +2

      I personally like the silver with red fork more than the blue, but my last bike was blue so it was time for a change.
      As for the lock out. It doesn’t call it that but the rear sus has a blue lever that flips into firm which is essentially locked out. The fork has a similar adjustment with the compression on the top. I tested it out on the trails and it all felt pretty locked to me.

    • @RobSeymourbikes
      @RobSeymourbikes  Před rokem +1

      I weigh the bikes how they come out of the box. Many bikes don’t come with pedals or cages. I full / better representation would be pedals, cages, and bottles. Plus anything else carried on the bike.

      @hambo76 Před rokem +1

      I could weigh it again at some point as this is my bike, but as far as I know it should be correct, but things happen. It could have been resting slightly on the scale, or ground.

      Just weighed a M with tubes and pedals and it comes in @ 35lbs 07oz
      My bike is set up tubeless and have better weighed with no pedals. (But is also a large)
      Often when weighing bikes here the seat or something else will interfere with the actual weight.
