I bought it Sep 2021 and it's about 8500km. Crossed 110km/hr. Crushed most of the time 80. Well I checked drag race with pulsar 150 and fz amazing pick up it's segment. And milage is about 55. I am happy with that.

False neutral - I get it almost daily
Dim Light during night - 1.3 lakhs ku night la vandi oata mudiyadhu ngradhu valikkudhu..atleast using street lights to drive.
Gear shift issues - Mid traffic la im getting struck a lot of times. [Advice - try using back liver in gear, helps at times]
idhu ellaa problem um Im facing too. Milage is around 50 when i drive within 60kmph.. If we drive ~80-90 then milage is around 40.. Kicker is not working for me too..Its not even like hero bikes.
Vandiya purinju [indha vandi ipdi dhaan nu] otnaa romba naal vachuklam. becoz the problem is we dont have a choice yet.. Pulsar eduthaa, adhula 1000 complaints solranga.

False neutral yeah definitely and i had. But i hardly face it now and When you reach 5000km and more you'll know how to run this machine and you adopt to this bike😂
@@rickvenkat Yes its considerably reduced..but i got another issue now..Delayed start is happening..something to do with battery it seems..i did my 2nd free service done, engine start has become delayed now than it was before.

BS4 Unicorn 150 eduthein one month before BS6 unicorn 150 launch. Eduthutu, light off and on switch vachutu, cutouter and bulb maathitein. Enakku ore oru minus nu thondrathu vibration above 75+ kmph. Mathapadi unicorn 150 is super smooth and comfortable. Neenga soldratha paatha nalla vela naan intha 160 ah edukala.
Problems that I am facing with bs6 unicorn 160
I have completed almost 15000kms in my unicorn bs6 160 2021 modell after 2nd service my bike started to give problems
1. While starting engine it will take 1 minute to heat up, this happens everytime and especially in winter it will take more than 2 minutes.
2. For every 2500 kms it gives problem in break shoe.
3. There is Gear shifting problem after 3rd service
4.there is bike wobbles problem after shifting 2nd gear for more than 10 seconds.
5. Issue with kicker (daily morning I use kicker) which feels uncomfortable, not starting in first kick.
6. Very poor headlight illumination after finishing free service we need to change to led for better illumination.
Only one best part is engine smoothness, no noise even after 14000 kms.

All the complaints you mentioned are mostly in the PS6 model. I am using December 2018 model PS4 bike. Mileage is 55 kms. And none of the complaints you mentioned, my bike runs great. I think it's more on the newer model.

9500 kms completed.... Bike is perfect, fuel choke problem illai.....Seat sound illa.... Gear is perfect.... I maintain 60 to 70 speed always... Bike of 150 cc segment is designed for that speed....If u drive 80 to 90 speed, u should buy apache.... Unicorn is a family bike...Other than that, light is poor, only disadvantage.... But I won't drive at night very rare....If u drive at 70 speed, brakes are perfect.... So maintain that speed , also u will get more mileage.....

Bro, I bought unicorn in 2013, But 100 la assault ah cruise pannalam. 100 la cruise pannitu 80 kmph poneengana gear down panra alavuku bike semma feel kudukkum. 5th gear ku 100 than correct speed maathiri feel panna vaikum. But neenga sonna maathiri 70 and 80 kmph than namma roadku sari pattu varum
HONDA UNICORN BS6 is a 163.71 CC Engine. I have HONDA CB UNICORN 150. 2011 Model, which is a 149.1 CC Engine.
In UNICORN you can easily go at 100 KMPH Speed and it comes to control. I have touched maximum of 135 KMPH in my 2011 Model Bike. Every day riding at 90 to 100 KMPH Speed is normal for me. However the speed increase should come in gradually and Not all of a sudden. Acceleration should be gradually increased and not all of a sudden. If we ride like that, nothing will happen to the Engine. Speed increase should come gradually. Riding habits also matter a lot when it comes to longevity of an Engine.
Main disadvantage, local mechanic don't repair unicorn. Spares available only with Honda dealer. Head light is so poor. Light weight rider will face suspension problem. By adjusting back tyre pressure we can little bit manage. For 50 to 60 kmph this bike is smoother. Main advantage is low maintenance bike. I am owing CB trigger for last 12 years. Some spares are not available now.
Change Engine Oil To Motul 20w50 All Engine Problem Solve Even Smooth Gear works.

I also have Initial RPM problem....it feels like we are dragging....when enquired with service center they are saying Bs6 unicorns are like this.....for all complaints,they are saying the same reply that Bs6 unicorns are like this.

Very rightly said complete life history of the bike iam also having a 2006 model front suspension is very weak because of that the front registration number plate hits the front mud guard & the head light ferring breaks that's when double travel & when we happen to get a pot holes or speed breaker this always happens & rear wheel breaks to be improved & when driving at times we happen to hold the clutch in half I experienced the gear meshing noise and once I realised the clutch it's normal gear also never shifts easily when in stationery unless it's slightly moved hope the company rectify all this other than this bike is super with milage engine also gets heated inspite of new engine oil air filter is also new
Im using 2007 model Unicorn, spokes model, which is running buttery smooth even after 1 lakh kms. I would suggest you to take your bike to a good mechanic which you or your friends know... You headlight beam can be adjusted to fall properly, your automatic choke problem can be fixed, that grunting sound is I think it is due to over heating, which I have never faced, your rear brakes can be cleaned & adjusted.... Unicorn is one of the successful bikes in India... I think you should see a good mechanic...

Starting problem in BS6. Every time you start it goes on auto choking for one minute. Sometimes more than a min. Even when you are very urgent you cannot start driving your unicorn BS6. So test engine cool downed vehicles so u can understand exactly what the issue is. think twice before you buy it.

I bought this bike two days back.. I feel more vibration on foot pegs and handle.. it's not a butter smooth engine like bs4 . Totally frustrated. My old unicorn is better than this bs6 model..

Hai bro, நான் அறிந்த சில தகவல்களை சொல்கிறேன் , new bike ல் first 3,000 k.m க்கு maximum 60 to 70 speed ல் மட்டும் வண்டியை இயக்க வேண்டும் , first 3,000 k.m தான் engine set ஆகும் range அதன் பிறகு நாம் எப்படி வேண்டுமானாலும் வண்டி ஓட்டலாம் , நானும் unicorn 160 தான் வைத்துள்ளேன் ,I had faced engine Rpm problem for every 3 hours gap, gear problem, seat problem I had ride 2000 km

Bro, initial engine rpm to 3000 is for oil circulation to all engine parts.... When engine is off for sometime, oil will settle down in oil sump, when started, oil has to reach from sump to all moving parts of engine. This is for safety of engine parts from failure due to friction. This has to be followed in all bikes, but nobody follows correctly.....If we love our bike, 1 or 2 minutes is not a big deal.....

Visit Ramani Honda service center in aatayampatti. They helped me to get spares for my bs6 unicorn quickly and the service is also good.

In just 3000 km Sounds comes while applying break
When on the speed break sounds from the shock observer in just 3000KM
After 2nd service bike is getting off while riding.
Ni proper service from the showroom in chennai- Madipakkam and Velachery Branch
But for this price 1 36 000 on road 2023 Aug model, 160 cc is quit reasonable.
Milage is between 50 to 55 in city that is also good in this 160 CC segment.
I have tried on long ride to test it's performance.
I usually ride somewhere between 40 to 60 speed in city for my daily commute to office , I ride about 30 KMs every day.

Ineed to face false neutral and low pickup in 3rd gear engine off in speed breaks all this problem is fixed by uaing motul oil trust me

I am from Andhra.Please don't buy unicorn present model.The worst model it is.Gear problem , engine problem, engine sound problem, automatic neutal problem, suddenly bike strucked when changing gears In the traffic it's very dangerous.This is bad experience with this bike.The problem not solved in servicing also.
