@@roido8288 If you say so, i'm just saying most people use trackpads when it comes to music production. Virtual Riot, Mesto, Martin garrix, David Guetta, Skrillex, Zedd, Calvin harris etc.
These are some of the biggest producers in the world, all of which, use Macbook pros with the trackpad.

@@roido8288They would even if they were used to a mouse, professional producers need laptops to take with them since they are always travelling and playing at gigs, most of their music production would be on a plane or in a hotel room, and not having to take a mouse is one less thing that you have to take with you, kinda hard to use a mouse on a plane. The reason they use Macbooks is because it is the most preferred laptop for music production as the softwares used to produce music and the plugins for these softwares is very CPU heavy. Macbooks are great for handling this because the MacOS is less CPU intensive than windows. Another reason is that Logic Pro is one of the most popular music production softwares out there, and it is only available on a Mac.

Story time: David is legit a cool dude as in this video! NOT a big fan of his music but his personality is on point! I was this time (with some luck) in the vip & backstage of the city parade in belgium, wasn't a dj or anything at all & i went for a good cold beer cause it's F'in hot that day... now imma dude in a wheelchair and people of the bar couldn't see me for my order or they didn't paying attention AT ALL, but next to me there was this guy with french accent & he was there with some friends to order some beers... he turned at me saw me & said "oohh, im sorry were you ordering?" me: "yeah but im already waiting like 5-7min & they not paying attention at all" so he asked "what you want? beer?"... i confirmed he gave me a beer & said '"its okey! its on me ;)" we talked & after a while he said sorry gotta go on stage... i was like huh??... seems like this person was the great man himself... David Guetta ;) CHEERS MY FRIEND it's a beer i will never forget!

If you weren't allowed to, quite literally every single modern DJ would be getting sued by each other for using other artist's material in their sets. It's extremely common for DJs to play a decent amount of tracks that aren't theirs or edits/bootlegs/unreleased music in their sets

A free tutorial from one of the best DJs and producers, that's amazing
Isn't a tutorial when you learn something and can actually recreate it? From a musician's perspective this is just basic stuff. Using loops and presets made by other people and just chop some stuff. A tutorial would be where he explains all the outs and ins and shows the whole production from scratch by crafting his own sounds and teaching others how to do it.

The way he record 808s and using presets without it sounds like presets are will be good information for beginners

This wasn't that impressive tbh, just a bunch of presets on top of a generic house loop. Nothing you could impress other producers with and especially not a punch in the face at all. My guess is that he wasn't feeling it and only made this video because he had to, so he made this as quickly as he could and called it a day.
