How to Install 200 Ft of French Drain. A French Drain is a way to divert the water away from your project area and in this case it’s a new garage, addition and driveway going. To build a French Drain you need a trencher preferably 36” long and 6” wide. Once trenched you add 4” of crushed stone 4” on the bottom, 4” perforated pipe, then filling the remaining hole with crushed 3” about 25 inches, Its important not to cover the top with Top Soil, so the water can flow in nicely.

To release the pressure on the from the front hydros you need to turn the tractor off, then turn the key back on, then activate the remote switches on the joystick which opens the valves on relieves the pressure. Also when you disconnect a hyro implement(like your ditcher, or 4in1 bucket) join the hyd hoses together. Thats why each set has both a male and a female. This allows the pressure to flow freely and not lock up a cylinder. Thats why your having to bleed the fittings to release the pressure. Works every time. Thanks for the video, very informative.
Thanks for the information, I will do that for sure in the future. Thanks again! I've just put together a new web site www.LandWorksPro.com. Adding new stuff every week.
where did you get the 4in1 bucket, does it fit all skid steered
The 4-1 bucket I ordered with machine back almost 14 years ago. However you can get one here from SkidPro www.skidpro.com/skid-steer-attachments/skid-steer-4n1-combo-bucket/
How does that machine tow? And what size is your truck? Looking at one of these machines and curious how big of a truck I’d need to tow it with. Thanks!
The machine weighs 7600 lbs, with a 72 " wheel base. Out of my three machines this is the lightest of them all and I really enjoy this machine. I've had it since new for almost 18 years and works great. My trailer is a 14,000 PJ trailer with hydraulic tilt. The older I get I tend to go the easy route. Smile My truck is a Duramax 2500 HD series and it does an excellent job hauling. Here is my website (www.LandWorksPro.com) which I'm contantly adding new stuff every week.
I have a 110 also. You'll need a 10,000# trailer and a /34 ton truck would be fine. I've owned and used alot of tractors and this machine is by far the most impressive. It is a construction duty machine, not like the standard farm style.
Keith Hansen yes on the trailer size. I had a PJ 20 ft trailer and then went to a 14k 25 ft to fit my attachments on the front a little easier. 110 is an awesome machine for sure.
Thanks to both of you! Appreciate the knowledge!
how long is that trencher?
It’s a 36” trencher but the actual length 42”
