I totally agree with J-Hope fearing to be too obvious around Taehyung. It's kinda like note looking at your crush when they're right beside you but you can only admire from afar. I love vhope with all my heart but I don't think Hoseok is avoiding Taehyung because he fears to lose control.
Hoseok is a very vulnerable person, he feels comfortable with giving skinship to members he doesnt have romantic feelings for, but he gets all shy and timid when he recieves compliments. It doesn't matter if it's Jungkook or Namjoon, he will always go quiet with a shy smile and avoid eye contact.
Taehyung is the intense factor in their relationship, he doesn't give a fuck if he's obvious, he wants to love in every way possible and thus showers hoseok in praises and gives him his utmost attention.
I for one, think that it's unbelievable overwhelming for Hoseok, he becomes even more flustured around tae and his jhope character will crumble. Hoseok avoids eye contact because he fears to be obvious yes but he also fears that taehyung will overwhelm him in public. I'm 100% sure they're absolutely loving in private but Tae is a demanding person by nature, he wants Hoseoks attention, love and all that. He gets jealous easily and it's so obvious.
Hoseok is a private person by nature, he's openly closed off. I'm sure he feels terrible whenever he has to play down Taehyungs obvious flirting temptation, it's visible whenever both of them avoid contact, both are hurt. Sometimes Hoseok and Taehyung can't help it and we get all the vhope moments we have.
If they're not a couple then my whole life is a lie. you can't fake love.

Eu sou VHope shipper, mas infelismente nesse dia (da entrevista com canal americano) o Tae nao estava representando. O amigo dele de mts anos cometeu suicidio um dia antes e ele e parecia bem abalado, nao sorriu em quase nada e falou bem pouco.
Fora isso concordo com o fato deles nao interagirem tanto, principalmente da parte do Hoseok, mas eles sao um dos shipps que mais esperamos interaçoes.

The boys have been acting weird those days...I mean, since the comeback. Jungkook is normally always hyped when Jimin is around...he still is but he tries to control it more than before. The members even look at each other with some kind of fear when they're kind of flirting... When Jungkook suddenly said 'Oh catch me mister police man.' in that interview when Jimin said he would have been police man if he wasn't in Bangtan. I mean, they normally laugh in those kind of moments! Instead, they look at each other with embarrassment. But then there's the debut of this video. V being abnormally too calm...there's something going on between the boys. I don't know if it's true but I heard that BigHit defends the members from having a love relationship with each other. I fear that they've been warned to stop being all touchy or close to each other to stop showing any sign of gayness or attraction to each other... Gente, para bem pra pensar: As vezes o problema não tá nos "probleminhas" deles dois. As vezes o tae ( ou o J-HOPE) podem estar tristes... Taehyung foi criado pelos seus avós desde pequeno, quando ele soube que sua vó falecera, ele ficou muito triste e quieto. Muitas armys perguntaram o por quê dele agir assim e ele disse sobre sua vó.
