It was a Great Theory EOC but I also have a theory that when we upgrade a building/hero in COC then all the gold/elixir/dark elixir is given to BUILDER or only half of it . If half of it is given then what does he do with that and where the other half are given ?

Because village is raided for resource if there is no resource no one will attack but if you give a portion of resource as a bait you can survive for long run this could be reason when you raid a village you don't get actual resource but a portion of total resources hope that clear your doubt
