For Ilya worker slot: every town with worker manager actually has 1 free lodging by default. You can get workers for your farm from Port Epheria, Grana, Old Wisdom Tree, Sand Grain Bazaar and other obscure locations. Once the workers have ran to your farm, they dont have to move at all anymore. However, they do gather small amount of Weeds and Monk brances which will get stored in the worker's home town, possibly clogging your storage if you keep stuff there.
My list of obscure locations which you probably wont use workers at are: Illaya, Olvia, Glish, Keplan, Port Epheria, Old Wisdom Tree, Acado Inner Harbour (Turns out this does not have lodging free), Duvencrune, Grana and Nampo Moodle Village (if you use any of the other locations already, 1cp at Nampo gives 4 more worker slots)
4:40 If your farms are in a 2x5 Grid you can save 3s by applying the fertilizer in the middle of the 2nd and 4th grid. The way you show it, to me implies that you use fertilizer 3 times. Great video as always :)
I actually don't use any workers and I also do not use fertilizer, yet I still am able to get at least 2 yields every day. When they turn red I just let them grow without tending and they still grow quickly enough. THAT is the really lazy way of doing farming and it still works out great :D.
Also 4:04 you can use 2 3 3 2 shape for 2 fertilizer for each 5 places. At 5 5 shape you should use more than 2 fertilizer to complete all. Orc this is just recommedation.

I am basically only getting blush leafs and fruits when breeding the magic purple mushrooms. Am I doing something wrong? I thought I am supposed to get byproducts to craft stonetail fodder. And where does the money come from when doing Ancient Mushrooms since it is the highest silver/day in the excel sheet? Am I also supposed to breed those? I am asking because fruits of destruction are super cheap on MP.
You can turn in blush leaves for stonetail fodder Special ancient mushrooms are sold on the market. That's where you harvest some of the crops. It doesn't hurt to check how many of them actually sell a day ('Daily Volume' column). If I recall correctly, volume was quite low on ancients.

would it be a bad idea to farm pumpkin for fruit of crimson flame just for alchemy so i can make essence of crimson flame and just sell that? or do hot pepper instead even though i am not cooking on this character, im just doing farming and alchemy
Farming for fruits can be a decent way to supply alchemy materials. If you go that way I'd turn the fruits into oils rather than essence because essences are quite hard to get rid of in large quantities. Other crops to farm could be for example fruit of nature (purple mushrooms) to turn into oil of fortitude. If you just want pure silver you could also farm a crop with high value to sell on the market. My farming sheet gives an overview of profitable crops to farm for silver.
@@summer_rains Also one more question sorry, does location matter for workers coming to farm and back? I see nampo moodle village has crazy value for CP:lodging so could get loads of workers from there for farm very easily
One final question to the one above (I hope), what do I do with all these spare magical hypha (yellow grade ones), I notice after breeding I get a bunch and since it cannot be stored in warehouse it cannot stack together taking up some space

you can place 4x crops in the middle and 3x from both sides, and use 1 fertelizer for all 10

Buying those fences at the beginning of my journey was such a great choice. It's so hard to get cp now. 1000 blush leaves is 3 cp. Crazy.

What is the best way to get fruits in the short term? sowing 10 x 10 seeds, or sowing 2x10 magic seeds? without using the mystery seed
Regular seeds give the same amount of fruits as magical seeds on a 100-slot farm. But magical seeds will be way more time efficient.

Magical give exactly 5x the yield of specials while taking 5x more space. You'll want to use magical seeds for sure

workers will prune the plants and it's definitely recommended to use workers if you farm for stonetail fodder
