I feel like lessons learned in one context should be considered as relevant in other areas of training. For example, what is the standard for keeping non-punching hand forms (i.e. pak da, taan sau, bong, sau, etc.) on the centerline? The knuckles don't seem to be sufficient as a standard, so surely there is something that is relevant to both the punches as well as the other hand forms. I wonder what it could be.
