I am glad this happened before Billy Joel ends with his last performance in July 2024. I actually got to meet Alexa, Billy, and Christie Brinkley in NYC for a few seconds. I was interviewing for a job on 42nd street and looking for a cab to get back to LGA to fly back to business school. It had just started to rain and I had moved to Lexington Ave to find a cab. I put my arm up and got one. Right then, the three of them came up to me and asked if they could have it. I just said I was a huge fan of Billy Joel and said sure. They got into the car thanking me and took off. Alexia could be no older than 8 at the time. Little did I know that years later she would become a singer, Christie and Billy would get divorced, and he would perform in NY monthly for years.

Alexa is an absolutely beautiful woman and her voice, her writing ability are a blessing to hear and read. So lovely they have this experience together! 🌠🙏

All of the naysayers need to understand that Alexa is still young and developing her voice. In fact, I bet very few of you would have the courage and the spirit to go up there and sing with a dad as famous as hers. They’re both equally good in very unique ways, and that should be appreciated, and acknowledged by all of you naysayers. Nuff said
She is 1000 times better than I would be, no doubt. I think though, that if she had superstar talent, she’d already be huge, with all of the connections father has. She’s beautiful, she has exceptional style, and her voice is beautiful - just not top 1% beautiful.
Where is Billy? Tell him let's do this..I'm ready. There are many people who aren't afraid of the same things as you are and many people that don't see famous people as anything but a human because we are aware of the entire crew that puts this stuff together in the first place.

she's better off not giving up her day job .. her voice is okay but not a sensational or star quality whatsoever .. she is however taller than both her mom and dad .. .. all the comments on her being a great singer is kiss ass .. she's a stars daughter but she is nowhere near the talent of her father .. thank me now for my Simon honesty ..
Her day job IS being a singer. She has an album coming out this year. That said, why does everyone have to be an American Idol or X factor caliber singer for some people? Talent is talent. There are tons of famous people who wouldn't make it past the first round of Idol. So what! Alexa does great in her own right and doesn't even need to be like her father.
