    I bought the GHAD-39 on Prime day and you’d think it was a $200 airbrush. ( I paid $30). Loving this company.

      I agree, Darksouljah. I think it spray as good as my eclipse and other brushes that I have. And it has a lot more features.

      @@TheAirbrushGarage I love the box art with all the parts on the inside and the case. Also the test sample from the brush. 10/10 from me.

    Thank you for your review. All your suggestions and feedback received, and they are very valuable to Gaahleri. Especially regarding the differentiation between accessories , we will carefully study the solutions and make improvements in future products. We hope that our products can bring more convenience and inspiration to artists.

    great video and review man!! I bought one of these too but haven't gotten to fully test it out. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the ghad-39 compared to this, because to me they seem so similar. But the 98 is so much more expensive. keep up the great work.

    I absolutely hate the screw in cups they keep throwing on airbrushes. But that's a personal preference I'm aware many like the interchangeable cups. I'm semi curious.. at some point I may pick one up and see what i think.
    As for their more expensive brushes, they would have to be absolutely amazing at a higher price point than the creos platinum brushes to earn that price point.

      Hi Bill. I was actually surprised by how much I liked the brush. It sprayed really well. In my mind, as I was spraying with it, I kept comparing it to my eclipse. After spraying with it for a week, my feeling on it is that it is comparable to my eclipse, but it is loaded up with more features, and I really do like that it is tooless. I have a .5 pistol grip brush from them to do a review on as well. It was good to hear from you, and I hope all is well with you and your family.

      @TheAirbrushGarage The needle and nozzle not being marked is off the charts frustrating. Even an empty tube marked with the different needle/nozzle sets would help simplify matters. Hopefully Gaalheri can solve this issue quickly.

    I bought the Gaahleri GHAD-39, and I’m very happy with it. It is a 2 in 1 with 3.5 and 5.0 needles. It feels solid and sprays consistently and smoothly. My main use for it is spraying clear coats and varnishes on models and as a back up to my Badger and Procon. I plan to buy the 98 as well. Also, replacement needles and nozzles are not expensive and easy to get. I like Gaahleri.

    I've been using Hansa 381 for some time, and I really love the toolless design, the screw in type nozzle is just too tiny & not easy to clean.
    Might prolly get one of these airbrush to try out dual action airbrush.

    I picked this ab up recently and I like it. One thing i did notice is the trigger response is not quite up to gsi creos and iwata standards. I think it atomizes paint well. Overall I am pleased. However, I purchased mine with a 20 % off code. Without that, the gsi creos being cheaper is a better airbrush. Gaahleri has their mainland china airbrush premium priced higher than gsi and lower level iwata’s. So far, I haven’t seen any ab out of mainland china up to the standards of the two japanese companies mentioned. I would even say sparmax out of taiwan is putting out excellent products at a good price point. Gaahleri is having to heavily discount their brushes in this competitive market where there are clearly better choices. It is my guess that Gaahleri is spending a great deal of revenue on marketing hype and give aways to influencers on youtube and other venues. I would much rather just see them put out a better product with more attention to detail at a better price point.

      Hi Dave. Thanks for the feedback. My take on the brush is that I thought it came with a good amount of features and accessories for the money. I used it for a project so I could do an objective review, and it did fine. It's not my micron, but it's not bad for almost everything you need to start learning. Again, thanks for the feedback. It is very helpful for viewers to get different perspectives.

    looking forward to their smaller needle airbrush, whenever that drops, seems like great value/bang for buck.

    The Gaahleri 98 is basically a 39 with shinier parts but at double the price. Still they need to up about 10 more notches in quality control to make them last in the market. I wonder how they will do it with China's economy imploding and on the verge of revolution?

    What about spraying without the nozzle? I see a lot of that for closer detail is that a good idea?

    • @TheAirbrushGarage
      @TheAirbrushGarage  Před 8 měsíci

      Bullwinkle, you can spray without the needle protector but not without the needle nozzle. I only use the needle protector when I am not using the brush. Like when the day is done, the brush is cleaned, and I put it back in my holder. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

    • @bullwinkle7542
      @bullwinkle7542 Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@TheAirbrushGarage I understand but I meant the nozzle especially watching art work for extreme close ups where you actually have to see the needle studio art I see it alot

    • @TheAirbrushGarage
      @TheAirbrushGarage  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Bullwinkle, i think we are talking about the same thing but...there is a needle nozzle, and there is a needle cap. When you remove the needle protective cap that exposes the tip of the needle. It is impossible to spray without the needle nozzle. The brush would not work. And yes, removing the needle cap makes it easier to get in tight, and it also makes it easier to clean tip dry off of the needle nozzle and the needle. I hope this helps.
