    Yeay!! You’re back again.
    He’s singing in Kazakh!
I love the energy in this one, it’s a tour de force of power and passion. And it’s in his own language. There’s a difference in him whenever he sings in Kazakh, somehow he embodies the song more than he already does generally. He’s totally at home.

Dimash has such incredible power and energy. Yet just as incredible gentleness and calm. But it’s all passionate and with total abandon. Fearless yet humble. He has so many high attributes we cant help but wonder if he’s real. But by now....we know he is. We are most definitely lucky to live in his time. Top of my bucket list...to see him live.

If you take a look at the video notes they usually put a little into about the song. It says this is a Kazakh folk song from the 19th century. I love how much he rocks in this one. He'd be great with a rock band with the instrumentalists around him instead of far back.

He’s singing in his own language Kazakh. He sings this song every year in February on his country’s independence day. The Kazakh two stringed traditional instrument is called a Dombra. Dimash is also a master player of this instrument. React to him playing it in River of Love. he does loads of Rock songs! Daddidau is also an amazing Kazakh folk song!

Some of Dimash's best performance's are when he sings in his native Kazkakh and this is one of my favorites. The instruments is the Kazakh Dombra which many of the students learn when they are in school. This is a really cool Rock song with Folksy vibes. Dimash can do any genre and does it well.

Daididau is so beautiful, but better don't react to the last performance, Bastau is much better (in my opinion), more emotional, with an audience and also he plays the dombra (traditional kazakh instrument). Btw, Durdaraz is in Kazakh I think, not in Russian. Greetings from Catalonia!!

I was also confused! Another translation i found:
O Almighty, you created a girl so graceful,
And left us a miserable fate -
to admire her only at a distance.
We will not forget the taste of the tea that you treated us to
It was similar to the taste of "syrbaz kuyrdak" on a summer day .
      Chorus:
      One torment, only one torment.
5 cloves, one cup of tea.
      Such a tension, such a tension -
Then is peaceful, then in a quarrel.
We are in a quarrel with an old woman and an old man.
"Why don't you come?" - girl with me in a quarrel
"Why don't you come by yourself?"
      - we are in a quarrel with that girl, again in a quarrel.
      You're fair-faced, like a full moon.
I've never seen such a beauty.
Thin nose, black eyes, open forehead -
I dream that my narrowed one was like you.

👉 This bowl-neck lute played with a bow is is an old Turkic stringed instrument and called Kobys or Kylkobyz in Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz variant, for example, is called the kyl-kyyak.
The Kobys is the oldest string instrument in the world and, according to a German scientist, it spread beyond the borders of the nomadic area of Central Asia and became the prototype of all European string instruments.
(Turkic means: The Turkic peoples are a collection of ethnic groups from Central, East, North and West Asia as well as parts of Europe and North Africa who speak Turkic languages.)
A legend about Kobyz says that this instrument was created by the great steppe narrator Korkyt-Ata, who lived in the 10th century and that the tool is charged with magical and even mystical properties and sounds like animal voices. In addition, the Kazakh people believed that the spirits of their ancestors spoke to them through this music.
The old outlook and piety towards their instruments and music was constantly preserved in traditional Kazakh society and ensured the highest spiritual level of musical art and a special respectful attitude towards musical instruments. Simple people, for example, did not dare to touch the shaman's Kobyz. It is said: The balance between the courses of life and death on earth can be maintained by playing the Kobyz. 🌼🇩🇪
