The idea, if you look closely, is to fit into this "Bad Bi**h aesthetic" which is the thing that's trending. Big companies like YG are all in for the money. They've been doing business for years, and therefore they know how to get people's attention and gain popularity. This choreography doesn't portray any of the girls' true abilities, and saying that it is is a disgrace to the girls and the amount of years they put into their works and training. To train years just for that... It sucks.

Also, this will have to be performed in concert where they will have to sing and perform other songs as well. I think DK would tone it down too under those circumstances.
