Cumberlin is in fact right about not needing tugboats. If you go on a Royal Caribian ship you don't see a tugboat docking it. The captain can doc the ship themself. Same thing when I was on spirit of Washington during my D.C. trip.
I don't get it; in this episode Cumberland dosen' t need tugs to move into Big Halifax Harbour, but in the other episodes he appears in, he does!? Also, I've noticed in some other episodes that there is a name of the Harbor Master's model ship. Can anyone read that name, because I can't! And isn't the name of the cargo ship, that Hank and Theodore were towing out, called, "Igloo?"
It’s not uncommon for ships fitted with bow and stern thrusters and azipod thrusters (the “special engine” that the dispatcher talked about) to have tugs supporting them. Sometimes these thrusters will have to be overhauled and repaired, and when a thruster needs to be repaired or overhauled, the ship’s captain will often ask for a tugboat to help the ship to the dry dock or dock if the vessel if loaded for it to be unloaded before it enters the dry dock

Wouldn't surprise me. We never see Conrad again, and even then we never see him/her up close, so why build a completely new model?

The freightned cargo ship's name was Kingston and Cumberland is spelled C-U-M-B-E-R-L-A-N-D
