- Hi everyone! In this video I will be trying to transform Lavender Townes character Planchette from her web comic Unfamiliar! I'm super proud of how she came out. I feel like this was the definition of "trust the process" when you cut open her mouth I didn't like it till you put the teeth in, then it was super adorable. Then you mentioned noodle arms and I was like "Yeah... Okay that's a choice." but once it all came together I could appreciate your vision. This is why I'm not an artist. 😂
Once again a beautiful doll all around! I always love seeing collabs and this will probbaly be my favorite since I love seeing people customize these LOL dolls.

You can still be an artist! There is no "one right way" for art to be. Different artists have different tastes and that's perfectly fine. I'm sure your version/vision would turn out great too.

I always though LOL Dolls were very ugly, she loos better after you customized her tho! ^o^ Everyone has different styles of what they like hehe and I think she'd look prettiest in 2D

watched the video because I love LavenderTowne and doll customizations, was not disappointed! this doll is amazing, and I love how you added your own little details like the earrings, and made small changes from other art you've seen or as you saw fight; like the star, striped stockings and lace to the top. also love how you did the extra step of making props, so cool :)
She’s so cute. I loooove LavenderTowne, she really helped me when I started doing digital art, and has always been a big inspiration. Lol, I even read her comic of WEBTOON.
The doll is cute too, the one thing that really bothers me is that the doll isn’t completely white though, and maybe the arms could’ve been longer. But amazing job!!!

I can't stop laughing at the teeth. 😂 As for the hair, maybe you could've use polymer clay/apoxy sculpt to give it that globby shape. (too late now, just suggesting something)
I have never thought about doing sculpted hair on my dolls! Probably because I hate it on factory dolls haha!

You might be able to make bendable knees with a wire in them (without the doll needing to have tights) with sugru mouldable glue. It's really bendable and it's kinda like clay
