I admire your bravery about taking the APT apart, and I am pleased that you have come back. I think your running sessions and videos are brilliant, and very amusing, and certainly override the rivet counters.
Great to see your ok al I'm glad those gate keepers and rivet counters aren't stopping you from making the great content and community that you have produced thank you for your videos they have given me ideas for my layout and thru have provided great entertainment for when I'm sad and you always cheer me up thank you for being the great man that you are al. regards henry Cummins
Great to hear your laughter, Lord Al. You got your mojo and APT E back. My wife and I have always had your back. Our best to you and Lady Barbara. Bill and Janet from California
Yours is the second APT-E to have a new motor fitted this week. So anybody out that has one be aware. It is too modern for my layout, but I do like this livery more than the production model. Thank you, my LORD, for sharing this video If you hurry, you might just make the afternoon sleep in the House of Lords. Martin. (Thailand)
Hi Al glad to see your back to yourself. Good job on the APT. For someone who doesn't have a model railway I look forward to your videos. You did a request for me a while ago when I ask about running a class 47 on one end and a steamer on the other end as if on a train tour if you remember doing it. I must thank you again for doing my request. Looking forward to see where your naughty ladies end up.😂😂. Your laughter is infectious. Keep going as what you do is up to you. It's your railway no one else's,. You have more that enjoy what you do,than the trolls that put you down if you know what I am trying to say. Looking forward to your next video as they put a smile on my face. Gary from County Durham.
Hi Allan, I think we could almost say everything in the garden is blooming Lord AI is back to his laugherful self, The APT is back on the rails and the only fly in the ointment are a few missing couplings soon to be hitched on to there train so well done for a good job almost done!!!!. Cheers Robert.
So glad you are back to your chirpy, jovial, humorous, self, Alan. Years ago, when I was 16, in my very first employment, a Welshman said to me "nil grindum carborundum". He eventually explained the phrase, do not let the buggers grind you down. I guess you would know if this is correct or not.......!!!!
Hello Lord Al, good to see you again, laughing. Good job on the loco motor. Seeing it running well, is a great bonus and you didn't burn yourself. I normally do at some point. Well done and good to see you smile and laugh again. 😊
Good to see you managed to weave your way past Destination F'd also Good to see Lord Al is sitting on his Lav, flipping the V's round the lavvy door at the trolls.😂 "My granny used to say, Only sad and lonely people get their happiness by making others, life a misery because your not sad and lonely, like them" Great to see you laugh and I did giggle about the destination, only cos I've been to that destination a few times and usually laughed about later. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work Al.👍👍
LORD AL! So great to see you back smiling and laughing again. Always here if you need a chat mate. Great job replacing the APT-E motor. Take care all the best to you and lady Babs.
Great to see you having a great giggle today Lord Allan. Your laughter’s so infectious and always sets me off too! Really needed that today so many thanks. Very interesting to see the inner workings of the APT. Great too that it’s now back in action around your magnificent layout. All the best to you Allan from a very wet and windy Kinross 🏴 Stay safe and warm.
Great to see it running again, m'lord. Nice arrangement with Rapido and even better doing it yourself... probably saved time, there! Always a pleasure and thanks for the laughs again this morning.
Hi Lord Al sorry it's taken a long time for me to watch the video but been busy. It was great to hear you laugh again and what a fantastic repair. If I did 00 after that fine demonstration I think I would have a go. Colin
Hi ya Allan. What a pleasure to see the Lord Al. We all know and love back again. APT What a lovely looking train. Brilliant fix. Bet you're well chuffed. Like the little speaker thingy. Next time you get a nice person from India telling you you're bank account has been hacked play that down the phone.🤣 Thanks Allan Brilliant vlog buddy. ....Pete....

Just watched your video Al glad you aback keep the videos cig love watched especially the way you laugh and present your videos they are fun and also entertaining and very informative keep them coming dave
Hi Al. Great to hear you laughing again. I was watching your previous video when my partner walked in and asked 'What wrong? Why isn't he laughing?' and she doesn't even watch youtube videos unless I have them on when she is in the room! But Lord Al is back in town and has stuffed the Nagging Nora's down his lavvy and has taken a dump on them! 😆Welcome back to full mirth my friend 🙂👍
Lord Al's back with enthusiasm and a few ideas. Sounds like a recipe for disaster! 😁 Good to see you having a laugh again mate. All the best from Melbourne Aus.
Hi Alan, great instructional video, it’s such a shame model locomotive motors fail the way they do, I know a model enthusiast who models in H0 with very little motor failure, he said the motors wear out after many years of use and not weeks and months like recent British manufacturers models do, I believe the European manufacturers pay more money for better motors, I hope you get trouble free running after this motor change, keep safe and thanks for sharing.
"Oops" I nearly wet myself, Lord Al you crack me up (in a good way) love your sense of humour long may you reign. Great to see you back to your norm best wishes and regards to Barbara, you and your family ignore the mindless idiots. Regards Barry. 😂👍🍺
It's nice to see your back in the Groove to speak.. and enjoying it again.. Wevenjoy watching your videos.Love watching when you do stuff like changed the bridge or today's video. I must ask, where do the trains go when they go through the shed walls ?
Thank you for watching . When it goes through the wall it`s a simple loop to back in on the other side . There`s plenty of past films on the outside . A good one to watch is the Gold Flying Scotsman and Big boy loco ill leave a link to it ..You may like it. czcams.com/video/VYwdD_9Iqbs/video.htmlsi=kJZzwhhgKKrJN1hV go to 20.30 and let it run .
Hi Allan, Great fix but it looks a fiddly loco to take on and off the layout I thought my Bachmann western Pullman was fiddly , you got the easy job now couplings take care cheers Al
Glad you got the APT working, even though I don't really like it as much as the HST. I'm also glad that you liked my Mind your Manors trailer. Bet seeing the young naked couple in front of Hinton Manor gave you the laugh and a half you needed. There's more than one way to put a smile on your face. As for the gaps between the HST coaches, don't close them up too much or the coaches might end up coming off the track on the curves. That's an idea. Create a When it all goes Wrong episode. It'll give us all a good laugh, including you.
OMG Al. I started watching this last night and almost spat my drink out when you played that small recording 🤣🤣🤣. Finished watching it this morning. Great to see the APT working. I did send you an email regarding the GWR coach C. Not sure if you got it. Take care mate - Riggsy
Hi lord Al you're sounding a lot happier 😁 so that's good and you repaired your apt another bonus. Only 1 complaint you said everything was Hunky Dorry so I was expecting David Bowie to blast out but alas no 😢😂. Yes you need the sliding doors hunts couplings however just check your carriages don't have buffers, if they do they can derail on some curves. For some reason hornby fitted buffers to some mk3 coaches. I've got 2 rakes of virgin/ lner ones and some have and some haven't. I had to remove buffers from 1 coach as it constantly derailed. It's all OK now. Catch you next time Al cheers Andy
Hi Al. Great to see your mojo back! Where on Earth did you get that Aussie gadget? So, great work replacing the motor. I don't remember the video showing the APT-E not working, but before you throw the old motor away, does it just need a bit of lubrication?
The old motor is no good one of the windings has gone or the wipers are worn out there not worth playing with really. it draws to many mm amps and cooks the chip. The gadget is from Aussie man on youtube off his website . Thanks for watching Paul.
